Spring Health Mobile

I love how I’m able to make appts on my schedule in the comfort of my home.

Spring Health has been excellent as far as my Mental Health Journey! I am so glad that my workplace has this benefit for my mental health issues!! Scheduling therapy appointments with my therapist is real easy and very convenient! I would definitely recommend to my colleagues and my dependents!

Their app will only add appointments to your calendar if you give them access to your entire calendar. Not the ‘add events’ only permissions. The only rational reason for this is because they are mining your data. One should be able to get mental healthcare without an invasive app.

every time i set up an appointment, they drop it the day before because they can’t hold it. i cannot get in with anyone because they cancel my appointment! for a mental health website this is not okay.

Can’t sign in on my phone. Really annoying.

Update 10/8/2024: Speaking as a fellow mobile developer for a corporate app, the Spring Health mobile app needs an insane amount of work. It works fine for viewing appointment times and messaging providers, and for that I will give it one star. Beyond that, there’s so much to leave you feeling frustrated. For one, I have to manually sign-in to the app every other week without fail— somehow this app fails to remember my login details. Whenever I try to use Spring Health mobile on my iPad for virtual sessions, I run into so many problems that I’m forced to just call the provider directly. The app doesn’t allow making virtual session videos full screen. Instead the video stays in a half screen window (with limited “Zoom” functionality), causing a TON of side effects. The first thing you’ll notice is that this app’s design with half screen video sessions don’t register like a standard video or conference call to iPadOS, so any lack of physical input causes the screen to dim and eventually sleep. That means you are forced to click the screen, scroll or at least physically interact with the tablet once every minute or so to prevent your screen dimming and eventually disconnecting. Oh speaking of disconnecting, any sort of iOS pop-up causes the session to close and become un-joinable. I’ve disconnected from opening my AirPods case, which causes the battery percentage pop up to display on screen, thus disconnecting me from my virtual session. Low battery warnings have force disconnected me. Pretty much anything that’s not tapping the video every minute to keep my tablet from going to sleep will disconnect the video. And after being forcefully kicked out of the session, I can’t rejoin! It says “failed to join” with no other description. The user experience is so frustrating that I have had to ask my providers to send me alternative links just to communicate with them.

Really impressed with this app and how easy it is to use. I found a therapist who offers evening appointments and he is great! The availability fit my schedule perfectly and the process of scheduling in the app is so easy. Medication management appointments are also available and are covered under my plan (2/year). Really well done app that is very easy to use, the add to calendar button is great to quickly add the appointment and link to my calendar in one tap.
