Squad Alpha Reviews

Fun for a week or two but greedy on the ads

MacGm8 on

Australia

Yeah, this is a fun shooter for a couple of weeks with characters to unlock and their rudimentary development. No real variation in gameplay with a very much rinse / repeat level clearing. Too greedy on the ads, I get the ‘extra spin’ ads and the after a game ad, but cmon, the mid level ads are too much, especially when the option to remove ads is an expensive weekly sub, not a one-off fee. Edit: upped from 3 to 5 stars since devs listened and dropped the intrusive ads back to being optional extra spin style. excellent! Also unlocking new gameplay types like rift and clan missions forces a style change.

This is the best game on my phone it’s fun and addictive and you only get ads if you want to get something out of it. Amazing game the only thing that might put people off is when you download it it takes a while but it’s so worth it and I’m glad I was patient. Again you won’t regret it 🤩

Excellent

its hard to pick names on

Australia

Excellent game, I have been playing for almost a year, I have bought a pack or two that increase my playing time as I feel with a lot of these games you get to a point where the difficulty gets out of hand if you try to play completely for free. I think of course that the amount of real money that you have to put into these games not just this one does not justify what you get, I large pack of diamonds will set you back $150 aud and the diamonds don’t go far. I feel like these games should have a 90% off week once a year to keep things interesting. I think the guns should not be so complicated and expensive to upgrade to the high level. But it is fun to slowly build your power bit by bit over time and exchange your guns out when you do happen to get a better one. Nice one guys.

Love it great fun

Almost OK, but crazy ads and crazy $$

Pharian on

There’s so many ads in this game. It’s awful. If I log in for 10 minutes I end up having to watch 20 ads. It’s so mind numbingly boring it makes he hesitant to click “go”. The game itself is sort of OK, although it gets extremely repetitive very very quickly. Everything is insanely expensive too, with insanely low chances. You get to weapon L70 in a few weeks. Then you have a 0.1% chance to get a decent weapon from rolls. It’s like they think winning a weapon is the whole game itself. Forget about interesting gameplay, at this point it’s repeat, repeat, for weeks, then pray for a 0.1% drop rate. It’s fun for a week or two. But there is 0 depth to this game.

Not worth the download

Heavy relies on bad loot boxes per level that force the player to wait 2+ hours per level or constantly watch ads. Nice game idea but terrible execution due to greed

Hmmm
