Square - Dashboard for POS

When I download the app it is useful for a period of time lasting less than a day. Then, when I try to use it on subsequent attempts, it completely freezes and is unresponsive. The only fix I’ve found is deleting and re-downloading every time this occurs which is at least daily.

It is such a basic prepaid account that you can’t even pay most credit card bills from it, doesn’t work with cash app. It’s basically a prepaid cards from 2004 that traps your sales in their system for their benefit.

In the latest update the dates are wrong. For instance today is Wednesday April 17 2024. In the app April 17 2024 is set as a Friday. Please fix.

Square Dashboard is incredible!!

It’s been about a month now, all square apps crash upon launching. Such a disappointment.

Labor vs Sales!!!!!!! C’mon this is a no- brainer. All the data is there just add this feature

After 7 years of using this app every day, the dashboard app has stopped functioning. This app was critical to my understanding of my business for daily sales, trends, and specific item sales. This year a series of updates took away the major functionality of the app. We lost the trend graphs and comparative sales. Then we lost the item and category details. For the past two months, whenever I open the app it says “Unable to load results. Please wait 30 seconds and try again.” I’ve been waiting but it doesn’t looks like a fix is coming.

I get an error message when opening the app. GPBCodedInputStreamErrorDomain error -100. I delete the app and download a fresh copy. Same error message. I tap OK and get to the log in screen. I enter my username and password. I’m told the password has expired. A password I changed just a few weeks ago. I’m not changing it again. This app can be useful when it works. Square is a great service that CONSTANTLY breaks its own apps with needless interface updates and random failures like this. So yeah, grab the app and maybe in the next update it will be good again.

Good tool for keeping track of sales remotely. I would to be able to observe Labor vs Sales on the app as well. Data for who is clocked in and sales report are already there, if the designers could put the both together it would be even more useful for our superviso team.

Love this app but we keep getting a “unable to load data. Please wait 30 seconds and try again” message. I’ve updated it and it still doesn’t work. It’s been a week now
