This app was recommended by my vet. It’s great. Makes it easy to measure my cat’s breathing rate.
I have installed and uninstalled many times. It opens to a page that doesn’t work, so I can’t even get into the app. Tried on my husband’s iPad as well.
The app would be excellent if it had a way to record the context breathing rate was measured: was the cat purring, resting or sleeping? Before or after meals or medication etc. Maybe have predefined features for more general cases like the above, but also allow to create custom features for more specific scenarios (e.g measured before or after medication or meals) etc. Sleep cycle app has this kind of options.
I love everything about this app. It makes accurate respiration counting and tracking so easy. The only thing I’d request is to be able to track more than one dog. I now have two seniors that have cardiac conditions and need to be monitored for heart failure progression. Thanks for developing the app so we can take care of our fur babies!
Simple and easy to use, but I wish there were a way to add notes, such as medications given, food/water consumed, awake/asleep, etc.
I unfortunately have had one of my babies die from CHF and my eldest now suffers from mitral valve insufficiency, which inevitably will lead to CHF and death. He has a grade 4 murmur stage B2. Therefore monitoring his heart is crucial. I have been counting his breaths at home by hand for months now but decided to search for an app. This app is amazing. It easily tracks it by you pushing the button when one complete breath cycle is done. Genius! The best part is you can print out the record and give to your dogs cardiologist! It’s the little things and I appreciate this app so much! I’ll be sure to tell his cardiologist about it. I know if his heart rates increase its time to take him in. Thanks again
This is exactly what I needed to track my dogs breaths. I showed the app to my vet and they were very impressed! The only thing I would recommend would be support for multiple pets. I ha e two dogs with heart conditions and would love to be history for the both of them in the app that is easily identifiable.
My feedback is to add an option where you can select whether the respiratory rate was measured while the cat is awake or asleep.
Good app for basic counting which can be done just as easily with a timer. Need to add a way to include notes and multiple pets.
My vet recommended this app after I to took my newly adopted cat for an exam in which she was diagnosed with heart disease. Makes monitoring her heart rate so simple and I love that it tracks the history. I agreed with the other reviewer who suggested there be the ability to add notes to each entry. Would like to see that in a future update.
