Star Wars Card Trader by Topps Reviews

Poor investigation team

-1 star. New update (December 27th) with day 5 of the purple base set and intro of the new mini game has slowed the app to almost a halt. Plus see below. -1 star. Because of that plus the fact that often the odds are not reflected by the actual draw rate. Like receiving 1 Rare card per 15 packs opened.: there are times when one can open 30 packs but not pull a Rare. But odds are not guarantees is the defense. Then why give them? It can be frustrating to not pull cards of certain rarities at close to the odds rates.

Cannot Recommend

There have been positive changes to the app over time, but recently changed parameters in the middle of an event to make it more difficult and blamed us users for the change. If they made a mistake in their event set-up then admit it. Don’t make a change mid-event and then tell us it was to make things more fair for everybody.

Noting on back of cards

The Gay Dragon on

United States

Why is there nothing written on the backs of the cards? Its weird to have all these characters with zero backstory or info on the back. Kind of ruins things for me here. Some cards are also extremely basic and look AI made.

We need to listen music when we’re online the game:(

The game were great;) but can you just give a background music for this game, dude;(

Watch how you sign in carefully.

Grayisgreat on

United States

You can accidentally sign in with the same email (google, facebook, etc) and it makes a new account locked to your device. So if you start collecting after a couple of years of stopping, no way to merge accounts. I’m done. Deleted

Greedy

Tuck Fous on

United States

They used to at least give you a couple gems so you could try and gather them up to buy packs that aren’t full of trash. Now it’s just a waste of time. You can just look at all the cards in the gallery anyway, so don’t pay real money for pixels

Too many boring sets

C Dickens on

United States

Good APP. Needs a few things to make it way better. First off, stop putting so many sets out. Put some actual thought into them. Older sets were way better, more art, better art, better all around look. We should anticipate a set.. not say, oh great another set nobody is collecting. Top 1 percent collectors should be ranked, top 25 or 50 thought get a specialty badge, that way folks know they are trading with someone who takes it seriously. Make sets easier to find from previous years. Put a section on the home page for favorite sets ranked by the collectors. That would be fun.

crashes

love this app but it's been nonstop crashing lately

Like all things Star Wars

NotEmber on

United States

Like all things Star Wars this was once a beautiful app that had love and care brought into every system it had but all that passion has been tossed aside for greed and money. The app has been degrading over the years and I honestly don’t know if they even have a QA team that tests their UI because it’s just gotten worse and worse over the years.

Unstable with non stop crashing

App as become practically unusable crashes constantly from opening a pack to attempting trades will not stop crashing 0% fun 100% frustrating the force is not strong with this app
