Starling Bank Bikes Reviews

Awful lock system

linusalexander on

United Kingdom

Whoever made the lock system needs to be fired, it works like 30% of the time. Most unreliable bike service I’ve ever used. You can’t get a ride without having to contact support nearly every time to tell them a bike doesn’t work, it’s such a joke. Waste of time and effort especially when I have places to be and it doesn’t work.

The worst app ever

erkan_1874 on

Charging 10 pounds for no reason and so hurry to do this. The only positive thing this app like to do is charge you fee for No reason

Charge you for no reason + worst customer service

Nealpierre10 on

United Kingdom

I had to deal with this company for months now. They try to charge you 10£ fine every time you use their bike. Youll have to send text to their team to get the refund, send pictures that the bike was locked etc, such a waist of time, but 10£ is 10£ Also sometimes their lock doesn’t work, and when you talk with their customer service to ask them to lock the bike and stop the journey for you, they will force you to go back to the bike and send them a picture if not they dont stop the journey and you go charged more!! Crazy In bonus my champion Scottie who just blocked my account because he didn’t like I used sarcasm to him while he was doing the same to me, blocked my account. I honestly never seen such a poor mixed, the bike are bad, their technology doesnt work, the customer service is terrible they are just lucky Lime or other company are not in Manchester

worst sharing bike app ever used

Shocking

Absolute waste of time they rarely unlock and mostly unavailable, terrible

They never work

Would be brilliant if they worked - they almost never unlock or say ‘not available’ even when they’re right in front of you. When it doesn’t work it still tries to charge you and you have to contact support to get a refund. I’ve gone back to just walking as after 15 minutes of trying to get them to work I usually could be half way to where I’m going.

Truly awful

MancClubber on

United Kingdom

The app and service is atrocious. You follow the bike hire rules to the letter and you often get strung by a fine. Today I parked my bike, secured it correctly and I got fined. Then when I try and raise a dispute, the bot has pre populated prompts to dispute. Then you try and raise a dispute via the chat and the app glitches. To top it off, you can only submit 1 picture at a time. Give us bloody proper docks like the schemes in London.

The App has no bike stand search function

Good for a star. Kidding me. on

United Kingdom

If you don’t park at it’s stand , could be fined. Funny app, there is No search function function allowing you to reach by A, B point. How can I know my destination has stand around or not. I could be wrong, however, please advise how. Thank you.

Works less than half the time

Miguel politico on

United Kingdom

Terrible customer service, constantly overcharges incorrectly when bikes don’t work - everything is blamed on the user

Be prepared to get charged £10 for every other ride

Bennybobbs220996 on

United Kingdom

This app / service should be good. Unfortunately the end ride function is so temperamental that every other time you ride a bike you will be charged a £10 fee for parking it outside a bay, despite the fact you locked the front and back wheels at a bay. Please do something about this because it prevents me from using an otherwise useful service!
