Beruhigend und gleichzeitig psychedelisch, interessante Umsetzung von van Goghs Gemälde. In der App kann man dem Farbverlauf folgen, ihn einfach auf sich wirken lassen oder, besonders im Kreativ-/Traum-Animationsmodus, eigene Farbströme kreieren. Habe nur den Unterschied zwischen 2D und 3D nicht erkannt.

Diese App ist eine Mischung aus Sandbild und van Gogh. Und das ist exzellent umgesetzt und den kleinen Preis schon wert. Wie vom Entwickler versprochen wurde Autorotate zügig umgesetzt, so dass man die App nun auch mit dem Smartcover nutzen kann. Sehr schön um mal kurz zu entspannen. Mirror mit dem Apple TV funktioniert auch recht gut, aber da laggt die Darstellung etwas, was bei so vielen sich bewegenden Elementen nicht verwundert. Die Anregung, das Apple TV direkt zu verwenden, wurde entgegengenommen, aber er konnte nicht sagen ob und wann er dazu kommt. Aber wie gesagt: Für den Preis ist die App allemal 5 Punkte Wert.

October of 2024 and I was thinking of installing this app, which I had downloaded years ago on my old device. Now I have a new iPad Pro 5, updated to the newest software, and I wanted to install it, but I don’t know if I should. The app doesn’t appear to have been maintained lately, and the website is not secured. So what to do? Any ideas? Is there any hope left for this app? I would like to know because I remember how beautiful this app was. I know that sometimes stars die. Please don’t let this beautiful star die. Thank you.

I've owned this app for the better part of a decade now and would like simply to say: it brings me joy every time I play with it. I don't open the app often (usually I forget it's on my phone!) but when I rediscover it, it is like being a child again playing with a loved toy. Simple yet ingenious, I feel Starry Night embodies what all apps should strive to be. Thank you for creating and supporting this wondrous app, that it still exists and runs well after all these years means much to me.

Such an awesome piece of eye candy. It would be nice if the app supported more true full screen. it would be so immersive on the large format screens!
