Had to subscribe to even do anything

It’s as if it can read my mind. I love the diversity of the prompts and how as a professional artist can get so much more done in a day with this tool. Great for people with a fine arts background and want to generate something more human made.

I don’t want to pay for something when I can’t even test to see if it works properly or if it will even generate what I’m looking for. The cheapest option to try looks like it’s $10 for 40 lumens: but I don’t want to spend that just to test if something is what I’m looking for. Very frustrating.

UPDATE 09/19/24 - now they’re shamefully CENSORING and FORBIDDING private, unshared images with any kind of LGTBQ content! It’s like they WANT a media exposé! See my review below about the draconian censorship being forced on users by this company. The managed to ‘blank out’ virtually all adult or sexual content previously and now they’re preventing users from “creating” anything even remotely or tastefully suggestive or sexual, even with generated characters COVERED in those pesky naughty bits. Seriously, what IS it with this company’s conservative interference? Are they based in India or China now, or afraid of American republicans? Apparently it’s too hard just to block users from making racy content public on the app, they want to forbid them from making anything remotely sexy whatsoever (well, except the endless pictures of creepily underage-looking fantasy/game/anime girls they apparently encourage without restrictions). Starry’s days are clearly numbered in this VERY crowded field. Earlier review: About a month and a half ago, I posted a review detailing Starry’s blatant censoring efforts on ‘adult’ and NSFW content. The review confirmed what others had noted, only with more detail: that the geniuses at Starry were CONTROLLING what you could create. That review turned out to be popular, and quite detailed, so they persuaded Apple to remove it. Just goes to show that you absolutely, positively cannot trust ANY app development companies anymore. They’re out to either squeeze every penny they can get out of you, or use draconian, authoritarian censorship tactics to limit what you can make. They really like magical forest critters, fantasy landscapes and weirdly jailbait-ish (but dressed) fantasy anime/game girls, though, so keep “creating” lots of stuff like that, folks. But if you want to create real ‘adult’ content – and I mean full-on sexy stuff – which their generator is perfectly capable of – well, they’ll put a stop to that, yessiree! Nudity? Nope. Sex? Nope. Bikinis even? Good luck. Remember, magical critters! Their first trick was to generate black boxes over the naughty bits in your images, which made them look even more insidious and pornographic than they already were LOL! And, because AI generates naughty bits about as accurately as it does hands, the black boxes didn’t always cover the right bits. Too funny. So then they started blurring entire images within each set of four. Sometimes all of them came back blurred, sometimes two

Very disappointing. A lot of creations that were generated with a paid subscription are no longer saveable. What happened to the save button? The app also crashes quite often. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO THIS APP.

I downloaded this app hoping for the best and paid for it. I don’t know about the feee version but in this one at least 2 out of four pictures are completely blurred, sometimes none usually some and sometimes all four . It doesn’t understand the prompts no matter how simply I out it. I guess if I said car on road it might get it but don’t specify what kind or colour, that would be asking way too much. I’m disappointed and I would like my money back

This app used to be amazing I spent hours every day on it and loved the art it would create now it generates garbage if it generates anything other than a blurred out square of nothing it’s pretty sad to see it become so useless

Not sure why they’re saying it’s free, they want your credit card immediately.

Don’t waste money on this rip off

I don’t really understand why this app is suddenly censoring images that I’ve generated, I doubt that they’re actually NSFW; but if they are, shouldn’t I be the only one telling the AI they’re NSFW so they properly understand what is actually inappropriate so they won’t be generating that stuff in the first place?
