I love reading free issues of this, it’s a great app and the best out there reporting news of US Military Forces. Was looking to subscribe, to app, but after reading subscription, realized ordinary civilians weren’t eligible. Very disappointed.

News for Vets/anyone
If you like an honest mix of what’s not so good but also what’s really good about our world this is a good source. Sometimes a couple feel good articles can really lift the spirits. If you’ve ever put yourself on the line for your country and you happen to read this please know that help is always available for you. Speaking from experience, the VA will help you if you let them. Scouts out.

Stars and Stripes is a good reliable source to stay up to date on what’s going on in the military for this old retired veteran. If I could afford, I would subscribe, but I’m thankful for all the free articles!
The best source for military news
Whether you’re active duty, reserves, or just interested in the happenings of America’s military, there’s no better source than Stars and Stripes. Regardless of branch, the coverage is timely, accurate, and well written. I cannot recommend this app enough, especially for members of the service and their families.

I like being connected now that I am no longer active but this app frequently does not update for days at a time. Until the app get better and more relaible....

I have been reading S&S for more than 60 years (yes, I come from an Army family) and it is so much more than just a news source. It is my hometown newspaper. I my morning would not be complete without the S&S. Thank you.
