StashBot is your yarn shopping companion! When you find a yarn you can't live without, use StashBot to figure out how much to buy.

StashBot will pay for itself again and again as it saves you from buying more yarn than you need you need. At the same time, it ensures you will purchase enough yarn to knit the sort of projects you like.

StashBot includes yarn requirements averages for gauges 3 - 8 sts per inch / 2.5 cm.

Categories include:

- Vests, shrugs and sweaters (cropped, average and tunic length) in size 3 months - 62" / 157cm bust circumference.

- Hats, socks, and mittens in sizes Baby, Toddler, Child, Adult & XL Adult.

- Scarves, shawls, and infinity cowls in 3 typical dimensions.

All yarn requirements are presented in both YARDS and METERS, and you can easily switch back and forth between imperial and metric measurements.

YARN SHOPS: This is a great tool for you shop as it encourages knitters to purchase sweater quantities of yarn!

I haven’t tried using this to estimate a project because—with only eight project options—there’s nothing there that I would want to make. :( Deleting NOW!

Is not updating for iphone X and over display

Wish there was more

The app works great but for the cost I would have expected many more clothing options Baby blankets would also be a good addition.

Great app! Better than knit handy app, the tension is available in fractions!!!!! Knit handy only offers whole numbers, and tension is rarely a whole number. Interface is clean, easy to use, easy to read. Wish list: 1. Tensions for super bulky yarn, smaller than 3: ie 2.75 and down. 2. Yardage for basic blankets, especially baby blankets! 3. Added accommodation for different stitch densities, ie. Stocking stitch, garter stitch, lace, seed stitch, 2x2 rib, 1x1 rib

Seriously Worth it!!!

Makes in store purchases extremely simple. Very large size range and several garment options. I don't normally buy paid apps but I have read rave reviews about StashBot. It was well worth it.

Excellent!

Excellent app! Makes yarn purchase recommendations based on gauge and type/size of garments you wish to knit. This app will pay for itself by keeping you from over/under purchasing yardage.
