Like the app BUT…

Loved the app when I first got it may last year. But since then they are experiencing copyright issues with the music so these are now muted and to learn new routines is very difficult as a result. You still have dance workouts available and tips on how to be a better dancer/beginner classes for techniques, but if like me you want to learn new routines … you’re going to be disappointed.

Great idea, but that’s all

I bought a subscription last summer but gave up trying to use the app after just a few tries because it is so glitchy. The video would freeze constantly and I only succeeded in casting to my Apple TV once. I did try again using my laptop to watch the video, but it wasn’t possible for me to dance and see the image on the small screen properly, so I gave up. That is until today, when I decided to try it again. I re-downloaded the app on my phone and was hopeful that the issues from last summer would have been resolved, but they have not. Once again, casting does not work. Furthermore, of the two videos I was trying (Scientist - Twice), the preview redirected to YouTube due to copyright issues, and on the app itself chunks of the audio from the lesson have been muted due to copyright issues. Hugely disappointing, I wanted to love this app so badly.

Copyright means no music on the app

There’s no music with in the app however they have post YouTube videos to get around it but to literally go over bits and pieces throughout a dance class and having to keep going between apps breaks the flow a lot. Still in two minds. I can imagine it would feel like an actually class I go to but this really spoils it. Only solution would be to try get the rights for songs which I doubt they would do. It isn’t the end of the world but for a professional dancer to have to keep going between apps you could argue whether it’d just be better making up your own choreo and going to london when you can.

Broken app

Fantastic content but it doesn't work!! It keeps crashing and it wont rotate so you need to watch it widescreen vertically. It's enough to say don't pay for a subscription.

It’s ok but…

It’s a very good app however all the other lessons are needed to be paid .I don’t want to pay for the subscription because it’s not a essential thing for me to have .So if you can fix this it’s be fab.You also can’t dance to your favourite songs .I really love blackpink but only one song is available for me and it’s free.Please fix this.I dislike putting a lot of money on one app…

Buggy?

I really love the concept & am enjoying the lessons but have two issues. For me, the app is really buggy. I tried deleting and re-downloading it but it hasn’t fixed it. Buggy like randomly closing, not downloading lessons when I click download, lessons freezing halfway through, lessons not loading. If the download feature could be fixed first that would be great, as I think downloading will resolve a lot of issues. My other complaint is the price - £17.99 a month is really very expensive for an app. It’s maybe 2.5x as much as Netflix, almost twice as much as Spotify… almost as much as a basic gym subscription. Health is v important so I would be willing to pay a lot, but not for an app which is so buggy.

THEY ARE SCAM!!! I ALREADY PAID 2 TIMES BUT THE PREMIUM IS NOT INCLUDED!!! OPEN ME A PREMIUM OR REFUND MY MONEY!!!😡

No substitute for the real thing

A phone screen is too small and not interactive enough for dance lessons. I recommend physical ones instead.

Works well for me

This app taught me my first dance in less than a day. I used to go to dance classes twice a week then stopped for three years, starting again is really hard but this app has thought me again both quickly and well, I didn’t expect this outcome at all. After getting this app I dance at every possible moment which is at least 1 hour a day usually more (even up to a whole day) the money was worth it, even more if I can get a job using it.
