Steinel CAM Sensor Lights are STEINEL's first WLAN-based camera lights and are always connected to you via app. As soon as the high-precision infrared motion sensor detects with movement, the light comes on and you receive a message on your mobile device. The precisely adjustable camera transmits images of your entrance area to your smartphone or tablet via WLAN and gives you the opportunity to interact. You can see and hear exactly what is going on outside your front door and communicate from your smartphone or tablet via the built-in intercom. As soon as motion is detected, the corresponding images are stored on an SD card in the light.

Immer schlechter anstatt besser
Nach dem Update kann ich keine vorhandene Kamera hinzufügen, da die Meldung kommt , dass ich angeblich kein W-LAN hätte. Außerdem ist die Sensoreinstellungen seit einigen Versionen schlechter. Diese ist nicht mehr so feinfühlig einzustellen.
Nutzer
Basisfunktionen (siehe auch Vorredner) fehlen, Installation ein Graus, Übersicht der Einstellungen, keine Updates ..die HW ist gut, die Software hat den Charme der 2000er Jahre Bin gespannt … hab für eine weitere Kamera jetzt zum ersten Mal ein anderen Hersteller gewählt… bin gespannt Gruß
Sehr schade
Der Support hat sich wirklich Mühe gegeben. Ich habe sogar ein neues Gerät bekommen. Aber ich habe die Hoffnung aufgegeben, dass diese App in diesem Leben nochmal mal funktioniert. Früher konnte man noch die Empfindlichkeit und die Entfernung einstellen. Hier geht nichts mehr. Der Zugriff dauert ewig. Kommunikation funktioniert so nicht.
Software einfach schlecht - Hardware optisch hochwertig
Eine billig CAM hat eine zuverlässigere Verbindung - leider haben wir die CAM fest an einem Metallbalkon verschraubt und keine Lust auf offene Bohrlöcher.
Andauernd kann keine Verbindung hergestellt werden
Eigentlich eine schöne einfach gestaltete App, leider kann andauernd keine Verbindung zur Kamera hergestellt werden.
Unzuverlässiges System
Immer wieder Aussetzer trotz der neuen App. Viel zu lange Ladevorgänge, obwohl eine gute WLAN-Verbindung besteht. Versucht man aus einem anderen WLAN Netz auf die Kamera zu greifen, funktioniert es überhaupt nicht oder sehr schlecht. Was bringt mir die Kamera, wenn ich nur von zuhause aus halbwegs guten Zugriff habe. Aktuell leider nicht zu empfehlen.
Sehr schlechte Software
Also hab sie jetzt seit 3 Wochen in Betrieb. Bis dato lief auf alles aber seit kurzem keine Verbindung mehr möglich . Sie sollten mal an der Software arbeiten dann würde sie bestimmt rund laufen . Qualitativ ist die Lampe top aber Software reinste Katastrophe.
Ständiges Laden
Ich habe die Steinel Cam gekauft in der Erwartung, ein hochwertiges Produkt zu erhalten, aber die dazugehörige App ist eine riesige Enttäuschung. Für den hohen Preis erwarte ich eine benutzerfreundliche, funktionale Anwendung. Leider ist die App instabil, hat häufige Verbindungsprobleme und das Interface ist nicht intuitiv. Sehr frustrierend, insbesondere weil die Lampe und Kamera ansonsten einen guten Eindruck machen. Absolut enttäuschend, dass die Software so hinterherhinkt.
Kein Split View
Die App unterstützt die Apple IOS Funktion „ Split View“ nicht.. daran erkennt man das sich bei Steinel keiner so richtig um die Weiterentwicklung der App kümmert .. nicht gut
