Description

Explore the world of the Mayan calendar and the number system of the Maya. StelaClock is a fun and educational clock that shows the current time and date inspired by the Maya number system. The Mayan calendar uses a modified vigesimal (Base 20) notation for the long count representation of the date.
The Mayan LongCount shows the current date in the way the Maya used it and although the Maya did not have digital clocks, if they had, it would most certainly look like this. All the numerals are using Mayan glyphs and the vigesimal system inspired by the Maya.
Entertain yourself and others with this ancient Maya inspired clock ready for everyday use in the office or at home. Watch the Mayan LongCount date as it changes to the next baktun on December 21, 2012.
