So this game is a rip off of the original. They just got the game and used it for themselves. They even got rid of half the stuff and you have to buy it. I don’t recommend this game at all. I’d rather have the original, which is off the App Store.
Easily my favorite title in the series... thank you so much for adding it to the GameClub lineup (both devs and GC publishers!! - THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!) A sort of mixture of lane defense, shmup and RPG, the developers definitely nailed this one. On top of that, the currency that you're able to collect keeps you leveled while also providing a great challenge as you progress throughout the game - and if you do get stuck, all of the previously beaten levels are re-playable so that you can collect some resources and further upgrade your characters/ships. The story is relatively entertaining as well (if that's what you're hoping for or is an aspect of games that you like to dive in to). It's not complex or hard to follow, isn't too cheesy, grammar is solid and doesn't feel shoehorned into the game; not ONE. LITTLE. BIT. Like some other GameClub releases, this couldn't just be handed off to GC from Liv Games, so I did have to send a screenshot showing that I had previously bought the app for the full game to be unlocked - but it only took about 10 hours or so for the publishing team to open the game up for me (I also sent the message at about 2AM, so it might not even take that long for others). =D Bottom line? I missed this game - and even had dreams about playing it -, so it's great to see it added to the massive collection of games that GameClub has acquired and re-released. If you don't yet have a subscription, I'd fully recommend getting it. So many amazing games. Thank you all!!!!
