Stellarmate lost out on me buying a Stellarmate Pro thanks to requiring a login to the website for this app. I don’t care what the reasoning is - I won’t use products that play this game.

Join StellarMate to your home WiFi network. Use Ekos to capture images, stream video, guide, focus, and align. With Polar Alignment Assistant tool, get very accurate polar alignment using internal astrometry engine.
Never lose your images again with EkosLive Pro. All captured images are automatically uploaded to the cloud with a rich set of metadata that enables powerful search and sorting. Use custom tags to uniquely tag important frames for later use.
Check the health of your device, and use the software updater to keep it up to date.

Much Improved
The latest version is much improved. Keep in mind, this app isn’t really designed to run off of your iPhone. While it can be done, an iPad is more appropriate. Support is outstanding and the developer is responsive to resolving issues.
Crash
It crashes right away on my tablet.
Pure junk
I can connect with an iPhone but can’t use it because everything is so small, and when I use my iPad, I can’t connect. Will move to asiair. This is ridiculous. Whisk I could get a refund of my $50.
Works for me
I have an axv mount with celestrons guide scope and wifi adapter so I only use the app to control my qhy camera. It works great for that. I can’t comment on any other features but if you need to control your camera via your phone this is a viable option.
StellarMate, StellarMate X and StellarMate App
This is an outstanding program. Although there is definitely a learning curve, the system is continually getting better and more refined. Jasem is really great with support as well!! Highly recommended!!!
it is a nightmare to use stellarmate
the app has been constantly crashing, I always just go to remote VNC and use Ekos. worst $50 spent, just buy a ZWO ASIAir Plus
This software is pure junk
It’s unreliable. The app crashes several times a night, wasting time while I recool the sensor.
Rescan finds but won’t connect
I paid the $50 for SM Os and have it on a Raspberry Pi 4b. I’m trying to use infrastructure mode. The app sees (per rescan) my SM install but connect just fails every time.
even latest version is unstable
I have tried both this app and android version and both are unstable, crash and lockup regularly. The developer is adding new features in an apparent effort to compete with the ASIair hardware, but what he needs to be doing is fixing the app!
