Steve Reich’s Clapping Music

I have really enjoyed playing this! When I got it I played a lot until I finished all the levels, but it has still been a fun app to play again every now and then, or with a friend. I’m a musician and found it a great balance between fun and difficulty/challenge, as well as being good for focus and rhythm, making it a good game for brain breaks. Lovely design, great concept, and perfect functionality. I wish everything in my life worked this well

It's unrelenting and really wants to make sure that you've got the rhythm down

Trust Steve Reich to take something so simple, and extend it to the point where it becomes unbearably boring. As someone who has managed to take seconds of musical ideas and extended it to minutes of banality, it’s not hard to see why 20th century music ruined western art music. Hope you’re happy Steve.

It’s so boring and a waste of time

I really enjoy learning the parts of clapping music. The initial concept of the two identical parts seems easy but is surprisingly difficult to perform. Although it is the same phrase that shifts, it is learnt as 12 different phrases. This really boosts my appreciation of his music!

It would help if there were instructions for what you are supposed to do. Are you supposed to follow the dots as they scroll down the page? I do this and they just roll back up and its game over. What are you supposed to do?
