They got multiplayer, i am a happy man
I M going to compare this a lot to stick war legacy, as I think they should be, seeing that this is supposed to be some sort of successor of it. Legacy perfected its mechanics: User control is a massive boon, as it doubled your damage and you can predict and dodge enemy attacks. For the archidon, you could pester enemies from afar and dodge other arrows, yet wasn’t all that strong apart from early game to defend yourself from swordwrath. This game has none of that. Movement is sluggish, so you can’t dodge arrows and damage feels barely increased. User controlling is also slower, needing to press two different buttons instead of simply on the unit you want to control. And miners are completely unaffected, so you can’t jumpstart your economy do build up a barebones defence. Unit capacity made sense in legacy. Miners, swordwrath and archidons all being 1 made sense. Spearton being 2, because one of them can easily take on 2 swordwrath. Magikill being 5, since they can spawn up to 4 minions. And giants being 4 because they are big. Here, there are over double than what you expect. 3 or something for just a miner? Miners take up half of your unit capacity, and because of the little leveling up to your economy you can do in this game, you’ll need every single one you can get. Miner hustle feels like it barely has an impact, even if it’s almost free. No wonder they made you able to train multiple units at a time, because it’s so slow. 11 seconds for a swordwrath is ridiculous. I know the unit capacity is increased to compensate, but not nearly enough. In the level where you fight Spearos, you only have 75, which is like having 30 in Legacy. You simply cannot build a big enough army to gain momentum and kill him, yet your castle archidons just make him run away, causing a stalemate. Even on the lowest difficulty You are essentially stuck with level 0 units compared to Legacy, so no wonder they made powerups a part of the game balance, but then again, do you put in units, or power ups in your deck? You can make decks in this game, which is certainly interesting but doesn’t work well with the games foundation. In Legacy, you are supposed to be able to use every tool at your disposal to defeat the enemy. If you lose, then it is simply because of poor strategy, usually. Here, it begs the question of “Am I bad, or am I just using the wrong deck?” I think combining Legacy’s mechanics with this deck building mechanic might actually work really well. But, I’ll just st
Yup games good
Damn this game is good and the story line and cutscenes is also nice, but it would be very good if they added other units to campaign like bomber..Also i really want a chapter 2
