The app is unstable. The back up functionality is limited to your mobile device, as there is no web interface and no ability to save photos from any other source, only from your phone. my attempts to clarify some of the functional abilities in zero response from Developer, despite multiple attempts to contact. If this is your plan for privately and securely backing up your memories – look somewhere else I recommend Ente, as that is where I settled.
Syncing between three devices is inconsistent. Download file function does not work, nor does decryption. Once your photos are in Stingle, you cannot ever get them out, and you are lucky if you are able to sync across devices. I will have to keep this app, hoping that someday these bugs will be fixed, but as a paying customer I feel quite let down by this app.
