Stippl - Travel Planner

App has potential and interface is beautiful. The AI portion is behind a paid subscription so you may as well utilize other free ai services and input your itinerary if an app is your thing.

This app has potential, but it has so many issues. It seems like you can only add hotels that are available on booking.com. I tried to add a hotel I have booked and when I search the hotel name, the link and photo they have for it is a hotel in a completely different country. Doesn’t seem to be any way to edit this or to add my own link to the correct hotel. Also doesn’t seem to be a way to remove a hotel once you’ve saved it to your trip. May be missing this, but don’t see anywhere to add transportation between destinations? I like the idea of this app so I hope they make it usable! Would definitely use in the future if they fix all the issues.

Why there is no UK on the countries list?

There should atleast be a trial as shortly after I upgraded my account I submitted a request for a refund as the premium features were underwhelming. I had hoped that part of the AI based itinerary was to generate activity ideas, places to stay and things to know and do but rather the itinerary is just a few lines about the nearby cities to check out in a country and then just placeholders for you to fill up with your pictures at those places. Ditch this and just use the “vacation planner” Microsoft “copilot” AI to generate an actual AI itinerary and more importantly for free.

enjoyed planning my trip but there are some minor problems I planned on my laptop - if I want to check the departure and arrival times, there is a time difference between the laptop and the application on my phone (laptop 1pm, phone 6 am) another problem - it’s not possible to save decimal places on the laptop, phone works perfectly next thing - after you rendered the first video you can’t retake one, i decided to change my destinations, video still shows the old route

Don’t bother trying to generate a video. The app and website both crashes at around 40-50%.

J’adore le concept, Stippl me permet à la fois de planifier mon voyage et de garder des traces de mes aventures quotidiennes. Super pratique et « user friendly ». Cela dit, encore quelques bugs et j’ai de la difficulté à télécharger mes photos dans mes entrées de journal. J’espère que cela sera réglé bientôt :)

Excited to start using the app for my upcoming trip… only to find the country is nonexistent to the app.

I wanted to use this app to keep track of ideas for an upcoming weekend road trip, testing it out to see if I could use it for a big Europe trip later this year. The account and Trip Creation flow was simple and quick, but I couldn’t figure out how to add places to my map or daily itinerary. I was trying to figure out how to search for art galleries to visit and it was not intuitive at all. The budget section seems to have more categories than the plan section, but I wasn’t looking to budget yet. The + button in the plan section only let me add different cities, not the things I want to do in the place. Frustrating.

En soit l’appli est bien et super complète mais je l’avais pris surtout pour la vidéo 3D et j’ai perdu 2h à uploader tout mon itinéraire de voyage et les photos. L’application a quand même pas mal de lenteur (qui entraîne des bug visuels) mais surtout au bout d’un nomment ça crashait tout le temps c’est devenu hyper frustrant… J’ai été obligée de prendre un deuxième téléphone pour finir tant bien que mal.. Et le pompom quand j’ai enfin pu générer la vidéo (car je me suis embêtée à mettre toutes les photos vu qu’il s’agit d’un journal) j’ai trouvé le choix des photo absolument nulles et je suis très déçue qu’on ne puisse pas personnaliser sa vidéo en prenant les photos qui nous intéressent. Au final tout ça pour rien je ne vais rien en faire…
