Collect your workers! - Build tools and buildings with the resources you gathered!
Feed your workers - There's nothing better than a well-deserved meal after a day's work!
How to win in Stone Age: Digital Edition?

Stone Age FAQ
Is Stone Age free?
Yes, Stone Age is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Stone Age legit?
🤔 The Stone Age app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
I used to play the previous app for the game and loved it so I was excited to see the game back in the App Store. The previous app was streamlined and easy to see. The app art here is great but so expansive that it can be hard to see for example the cost of the huts can be almost impossible to read. Animations take some long my screen starts to dim while waiting for them to finish. Unlike in the previous app you can’t tell when boats and huts are being used up limiting end game strategy. Ai grading is inelegant at best. Medium difficulty seems mostly to roll better. I’ve been playing for several days hoping to find ways around the app flaws but there are so many the game looses its playability.
Fun and Relaxing
So great to have Stone Age back on the iPad. The graphics are detailed and smooth. The background audio is great. Overall, the gameplay is slick and well worth it if you like the board game.
Almost perfect but no turn notifications. *FIXED*
Game looks & sound great. One of the easier to learn & play board games. However there is a very big flaw for anyone who wants to play online. When it’s your turn, there is no notification. I keep having to constantly check online through out the day to see if it’s my turn or not.
EDIT: in the settings there is push notification option but when I try to select it, it gives error “unable connect to server”
EDIT: as of 10/12/24, notification bug was fixed. 5 stars!
Medium AI rolls disproportionately higher than human
I love this game and enjoyed playing it at first with an “easy” level AI. But when I progressed to the medium level AI, I started to notice that the AI rolls ridiculously high numbers in comparison to my rolls. I have the impression that the level of difficulty is determined simply by programming the AI to be much luckier, which takes the fun out of the game for me because I can never come close to beating it with my frequent low rolls.
Reprint and an issue
There was a stone App. It was great. Why did it go away? This one is fine.
I can’t use my wild resources to get a building?!
So glad this is back on the iPad
Thank you for bringing my #1 favorite board game back to the iPad. The game is spot on as far as cards, rules, etc. but the interface is super clunky. There was another company that made an iOS version of this game years ago, they had it right. The inteface was so simple and not at all overwhelming. I was so excited this was back on the AppStore but it seems so complicated compared to the other app. Hey, I’m just glad it’s back but look into that, the other app was soooo user friendly and this one is so congested and complicated looking. And make it look more like the board game board.
I’d like to leave a good review
Unfortunately, I can’t. I purchased this with the intent to play asynchronously with my partner. The game has required me to create a new account to play and resetting my password has resulted in errors from their website. I’ve contacted their customer service repeatedly over a couple months and they are completely useless in even the most basic of help. Customer service that should have been taken care of overnight has taken months and still hasn’t been fixed. Avoid unless you simply want to play against the AI.
In response to Acram’s response - Stop lying to me. This isn’t a priority at all I am utterly out of patience and even publicly calling you out here in the App Store has gotten the same facile non-response you’ve given me time and time again. You have no intention of fixing this because if you had that intention it would have been done by now. It’s simple. Delete my prior account and let me create a new one. It’s not hard. You even said so when I texted your company. Did you do that? Of course not.
Buyer beware.
Cannot Finish Tutorial
Unable to complete the card section—very important area, too. Game tutorial freezes after I get to the point in which I tap the card panel: it goes to the next screen and then I cannot progress further.
Recommend
Very faithful and smooth adaptation of the classic board game. I’ve played against the AI maybe 50 times and it works very well. The easy AI makes some dumb mistakes, as you’d expect, and the medium and hard AIs are good competition. So happy to have this digital edition of one of my favorite games!
Bugs?
Started a game and claimed a card (the cheapest one - 1 resource). Came time to collect workers and darned if I can't figure out how to claim it. I gathered wood during the turn so I have enough, but bringing the cards up to full screen by tapping, I can't collect the card - there's nothing to drag or tap to indicate what resource I want to pay with and tapping the card itself, the worker, etc, does nothing. Only thing that I can bring up is the help by tapping the "?".
EDIT: OK this was on me (and the UI developers). When it came time to gather the card, I was tapping the *top display* to view the cards and was thus unable to pay for the card, instead of tapping the cards at the bottom area of the play board.
