Does it only track the top 5 highscores?
I love the look of the app and the clean design. I would love a couple things to be added: a Fenris campaign log that can be saved from session to session, a way to organize the titles in the Home Screen (either a way to ‘favorite’ games or just alphabetical), the ability to change your profile picture from game to game easily, and some minor clarity in certain scoring (for example, in Red Rising, do I write the number of cubes at the institute or the points from my influence? I assume it’s the former, but it’s not as clear as it is on other scoring screens). This app continues to get better, and I’m excited to see what additional usability improvements they add.
The +-10 on scoring and showing more characters on player names are great updates.
This is a great app for keeping score. It does all the math and handles all the expansions with ease. The high scores are nice to have also. However, I wish it would save the individual scorecards. I’d love to know how I got that high score without having to take a screenshot and save the scorecard elsewhere.
It would nice to be able to see game history and not just high scores. Also it would be great to be able to edit scores without having to delete and start over.
New version improved added editing names. However Between two cities only has an option for four players but it is a 7 player game. Also can you add an 8th player option for wingspan. I know the game doesn’t offer it but with an extra mat it is easy to do.
You’d hope that an official Stonemaier app would do better than the industry standard, which is bad, non-native UX, that doesn’t even rotate orientation on iPad. But no. It’s the same old rubbish. A scoring app should be a simple joy to use. Instead, we get better feedback out of a pencil and paper. This is not the way to move the industry forward.
Just learned about this and it looks really nice! Artwork and quality on par with Stonemaier games. A couple recommendations: 1: Some way to save players to make set up faster. Our group is the same four people so having saved ‘profiles’ would help. 2: Instead of adding up the scores on the end of round goals board (leaving the possibility for miscalculation, especially with ties) could you do a virtual board of sorts? Wouldn’t have to put in the goals or anything, just the four rounds and put the right color cubes in the right squares so it adds up automatically. 3: It currently says to give one point per nectar token instead of the 5/2 scoring for first and second. This would also be a place to make it possible to put in the token numbers for each player in each habitat and have it autofill the score. I love the way the app works and will happily use as is, but a couple tweaks would make it a 7 out of 5!
