Story Plotter - idea to plot -

i’m confused my app was reset because I didn’t use it for awhile and now I can’t access all of the things I’ve wrote. Is there no way I can keep the data on the app saved. I’m really confused as reset to default settings and now I’ve lost everything I wrote.

I love the vibe but this is just an idea, make an environment maker so you can make the pictures or have extra question options

I liked it as quite neat, linking the characters and being able to upload artwork. To illustration the story. deleted it temporarily to do an iOS update, last time all the data was backed up - not anymore as there is subscription fee now so I lost the data. They reasons are explained, but it’s a no for me now, I already pay a sub for documents storage, so can’t justify $3.49 pcm for a singular app.

Have only just downloaded the app but in my opinion it has incredible potential. Great to see the creator replies to feedback also and takes on board. The UI is ridiculously clean and simple and love the aspect of seeing an easily editable timeline. Great work developer

Monday 12 September 2022 Hello story plotter I just began again to use this. Early days, but I’m seeing a lack of auto capital on a new sentence. Is this intentional? It’s hard to edit as you go with this happening. 🌷 Can you adjust please on next update? I’m beginning a new story which I hope to post on a writers website. Will give this app a plug when I’ve finished the story with it. Can’t wait to use the features you’ve implemented. Awaiting your help. Many thanks. Yours sincerely

I love this app so much, it’s really helpful for when I write stories. There are plenty of ideas to stimulate writing and a great layout of the events. Plus, lots of customisable things, like colour, story status and more, which (in my opinion) is always great. Definitely download if you love writing stories and need some ideas or inspiration! I love writing. I like stories. Before deleting this I’ve had stories I put pure effort in. It’s really satisfying to have a helping hand 👌🏽. I love this soooo much. And the structure of the app is something you can understand easily and is a great experience.

I used this app a little while back and enjoyed it, but often got frustrated with the bugs. Having downloaded it again recently, I am astounded by the changes that have been made! It is now my go to tool for plotting stories. The guided prompts make me think about the structure and characters in depth (something I often struggle with, as I would otherwise race ahead without a plan, only to hit a wall within the first few chapters that requires me to re-think everything 😂). I love that you can colour code everything, so it is easy to see what’s what and move things around accordingly, and you can add pictures- which is excellent for me, as I tend to use a lot of visuals as inspiration, and like to add drawings of each character alongside their profiles. The relationship diagrams and timeline are tools I never realised I needed, but now use all the time! They make it easy to see the relationships between all my characters at just a glance, and pinpoint exactly when each event takes place, so I can easily track where my character is in their journey, and how they feel about other characters (and vice versa) along the way. Overall, an excellent app, and probably the only one I’ll be using to plan my stories from now on!
