My only complaint is the choice of having one character be featured in a story couldn't possibly work for people who have twins or triplets or etc. I don't find the stories engaging enough and descriptions are lacking detailings too. I would suggest adding the option of adding more than one main character to the story, and giving more thorough continuation choices. For me the choices I thought kids were going to pick weren't even in this app.
As the pace of technology increases keeping kids engaged in something as pivotal as reading can really be a challenge. Storying has found a creative engaging way to allow children to use their creativity and develop a love of reading. I love how each story unfolds with such age appropriate prompts and how the format allows for parents, and kids to create one of a kind stories that reach each person where they are. The options are so open ended and fun. Looking forward to seeing how my children’s stories evolve over time!
Storying is a great, interactive app with many ways for kids to formulate stories that interest them. There will definitely be more apps like these in the future. Overall, I’d say that it’s a great example of how AI can be used for education, fostering reading skills, and to put kids’ imagination into words.
This is a simple app that makes the power of storytelling accessible to all. My daughter and I had a blast creating a short story based on one of her OCs (original characters) in just minutes! Super easy, super fun, highly recommended.
This app is way better than reading my four-year-old daughter the same books over and over again. She loves that she feels in control of the story. Definitely part of our nighttime rotation now.
Fun to create collaborative stories with kids. I love the “choose your own adventure” throwback kind of experience
