Great product when it works

Had this product for about a year and it is really awesome, when it works. Unfortunately I’ve had connectivity issues with it more often than not. My cell phone will have three bars and still no connection. Other than that, it’s simple to use and the battery lasts a long time.

The Striker Cast devices are awesome!!

If you fish from shore, a kayak, or even a small boat, you’d like using a Garmin Striker Cast. This app allows you you turn your phone into a fish finder when paired with either a white non GPS Striker Cast, or a blue GPS enabled Striker Cast. The GPS version even allows you to create a lake map! Love this app!

Awesome piece of equipment!

Looking forward to the details that this will give us on our shore fishing experience! We also icefish ! Just don’t have a boat yet , so for my birthday, my girlfriend bought this for me as a gift ! We are excited!

Fun!!!!

I got this thing as kind of a lark to see whether I could use my inflatable. There’s not much to it. You tie it to its string and throw it over the side and you turn on the phone. Pull up the striker app and you see Fish and the bottom. It works great. The depth range seems to be up to 180 feet which suits me fine for working the lake.

Waste of money

I have had the deeper Casting and the Garmin striker. Both lasted less than 6-12 uses. Do not waste your money! On either of there’s. Did work great the couple of times it worked though.

Striker cast

It has been awesome the last 2 years to see the depth, water temps and seeing the fish. However, it has started to not be as accurate lately. We have to restart it allot to get it to work. I wonder if we need an update for it or something.

Marked 20+ fish and caught most of them. This device save you from the skunk.

Excellent product

The first time I used it was easy to hook up and use. Scanned the water and boom caught fish where Garmin showed. Highly recommended for bank fishing.
