Please Help

Love the app but once I select a steel member I’m stuck on that one type. I try to go back and select a new member such as angle but the app keeps going back to previous member. Seems like a bug forcing me to restart app per member type. iPhone 12 Pro. IOS 17.0.3. Thank you!!!
