Studio Killers Style Battle Reviews

I love it, but…

I got this game so long ago and I had so many outfit pieces and I was on my way through planet Jeff then my interests shifted for a while and when I came back, all my stuff was gone! I had nothing and now I have to try to get everything back (which costed hundreds of thousands of likes) with barely a couple hundred likes. Makes me really sad.

I feel bad for Studio Killers.

I wanted to like this game, REALLY bad. Studio Killers announced the game and I waited to see what they could’ve made, what it’d be like, and it ended up being a candy crush clone with dress up aspects. now, I’m all for dressing games, they have their own niche, but the actual gameplay falls apart within the first few levels, becoming more and more repetitive… It’s gotten to the point that I’ve lost interest in trying to see what happens in the storyline - It’s just not worth the grindset. considering the last update was half a year ago, and there’s other reviews complaining of severely lacking developer support (migrating account data isn’t hard, compared to making a game in the first place), It’s not worth keeping. SK has excellent music, and I’m all for it, but this anemic first-time app was awful. I wish they aimed a little higher.

Fun

Its very fun and I love the art style, but all my clothes disappeared

Love the art, but please make the hashtag font bigger

I’m a big Studio Killers fan and I’m having a lot of fun with the art and variety of character customization options! I just have one urgent suggestion: my vision is poor and my phone screen is small, so I can barely see the hashtags on the clothing items in the equipping screen before battles. It makes it hard to pick the right clothing/accessories for each battle. Please make the font bigger or let us click on the clothing item to see the hashtags in a bigger window!

alright i guess

we all know it’s an obvious love nikki clone but with a bejeweled game mechanic, which i do enjoy. what i don’t enjoy is the other aspect that’s been copied from love nikki: the constant pushing of micro transactions. if you play this i hope you have an iron will or a hefty credit card. the music is fun and the graphics are fun. i wish there was an easier way to speed replaying levels to get currency instead of having to manually repick your winning outfit. i also wish there was an easier way to filter your current closet with the needed hashtag. idk, definitely needs to gameplay upgrades but overall i dont hate this game at all

Upset

The game crashed and couldnt play so i waited for a week to be fixed. After a week of no fixing i deleted and downloaded it again and lost all my stuff. Just stick to making music studio killers.

Game unplayable

Game is unplayable. It loads up but once you try to play inventory appears and disappears. Once you press battle it just never loads. Game has been having so many issues

Fun but buggy

Some of the clothes/hairstyles aren't sized to the avatar, and there isn't a ton of the combo handling you see in bejeweled. Right now I can't proceed in the game at all because the outfit selection screen breaks and you can't actually battle, which is unfortunate because of the event happening right now. Guess I have to wait for the next update or something?

Good, but could use some updates

I got this game because I enjoy the art style and music of Studio Killers. So far it’s pretty good for being another match game, but I have some suggestions: 1. Update some of the clothing layers. Some of the clothes/hair/items clip in a weird way. 2. Add some more music. Since this is a game based on the world of the band, maybe include some of the music or some instrumental tracks? The two present are fine, but it would be a great opportunity to showcase some nice tunes.
