Great app!
Great app! Only been using it a few days now but I've learnt so much from it. To be fair, I already speak Mandarin, so I can pick up Cantonese relatively easily and I don't know how this app would be for people with no background in Chinese, but for me it's perfect. Cartoons are cute, dialogs are interesting and funny. Yes, there's stuff you won't learn through this app, but it doesn't claim to be a comprehensive in-depth Cantonese course. What it will do is build up your confidence, give you a fun environment to learn in, and teach you more conversational/fun Cantonese. There are a couple of issues though; I've noticed a couple of mismatched translations, so they should check more thoroughly. Also, despite buying the full app on my iPad, it still shows up as unpurchased on my iPhone which is a bit annoying. Small problems in the grand scheme of things though, and generally very happy.
