I used this from 2020 or so on my steps8000. Amazing Easy to refit the restriction when i lent bike to friend for several years. He can’t ride now so i have it back. I have forgotten the code so i can use the app. Can you help?

Software seems better than the Shimano app. Works well, I’ve changed my e7000 to us spec and now get 20mph. Fairly easy to understand and really good communication from the developer

Hi there , I have got an orange phase mx pro with ep8 motor I am having trouble purchasing the license do have an idea many thanks.

If you have an RS motor with 60NM you need this app. 99p to upgrade to 85NM and it takes literally 30 seconds! Amazing app thank you! Is there any way of upping the speed limiter on the RS motor yet? It’s saying the full app isn’t compatible with this motor

Tried for hours to connect this app to the shimano ep8.just keeps asking to turn bike off and on,use default pin(which I haven’t changed) or no Bluetooth connection which the shimano app connects via Bluetooth instantly Glad I just tried the 89p app before wasting £30 on the license

Was running the shimano motor on US region settings using ST Unlocker. All running fine until the system developed a fault code. Having returned the bike to the shop, it turns out the warranty has been invalidated. If you use this app to change the region of your motor, note that you do so at your own risk as you will invalidate your warranty. Expensive mistake.

The basic App itself is an obvious must get for the price, as previous reviewers have said it opens up far more abilities to tinker with the settings than the Shimano one, and which biker doesn’t like to do that? I went and purchased the premium licence which although not cheap, does allow additional ‘useful’ tinkering to allow your bike to reach its maximum potential. Unlike one reviewer said, in my experience the app writer got back to me Immediately, and answered all my queries promptly and correctly. I would note that in order to use the premium app you may need to be a little literate and happy with the concept of ‘jailbreaking’ but it was far easier than jailbreaking phones and consoles etc. My only wish is that the premium app does not allow one setting to be changed on my motor E7000, which is available for the E8000, which is a bit disappointing, but hey perhaps there is a workaround for this, and I will contact the app developer about it when I can be bothered. And in fairness it does tell you before purchase of the premium app what it can and can’t do in the manual, (as always I just don’t read manuals) Otherwise the 99p app is a must, and if you want the best out of your lovely new E-bike then the cost of the premium licence is probably less than 1% of what you paid for the bike, so yeah! Oh one final thing, the app (and I don’t know if this is basic or premium sorry) lets you put the bike into ‘anti theft mode’ which basically will not allow the motor to function until you log back into the bike, with your pin and change it out, dont know how useful that actually is, as no potential thief will likely know the bike has it enabled, but at least it would irritate the life out of them that they have just stolen an essentially ‘bricked’ e-bike.:)

Great software easy to use,no need for any hardware.

Great app so easy to use, licence took about 3 mins to get in the email. Loaded to the bike so easy. You can see all the details of the motor and battery charges. Set to USA then decreased the wheel size to about 1300. Rode the bike up the roads like a different bike altogether 👍 Also had great support from STunlock in down grading the software. I was missing a stage and they sorted for me. They gave fantastic customer service. For the price they charge it’s fantastic well done guys 👍 Get the best out of your bike use this app👍
