subpar pool

Es muy adictivo y divertido, con un juego muy sencillo pero muchas variantes consiguen hacer algo muy original. Estoy deseando que hayan mas actualizaciones para poder jugar en nuevos mapas. (:

I really wanted to like this game. The graphics are great, but the menus, gameplay, and objective goals are not intuitive. I gave the game a week, I did get better, but not worth the frustration. Add more examples or tutorials of the game elements. Being able to shoot from the cue ball would also make a lot more sense.

This game is absolutely stuffed full of charm, fun mechanics, and what feels like near-infinite idle replay potential! It just *feels* good to play, with fun animations and excellent use of the iPhone’s haptics. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

A great app for when you have a few spare minutes or want to play for an extended period of time. The left-handed mode is the cherry on top.

So cute and fun too! Doesn’t get repetitive and the core gameplay loop is so fun. I love the sound effects and music that creates a seamless atmosphere. 10/10

Ever since Rymdkapsel I’ve been monitoring this developer for new games. They never disappoint! In addition to all of the nice things people are saying about gameplay, what I have noticed is that the music is delightful. Usually with games like this I find that after a little while I need to mute the music. But Sub Par’s music is so adorable that I’m still really enjoying it. Great job!

I got the game because I saw the developer on Mastodon talking about high minded game design concepts like reward and choice. Well after playing for about a week, I can tell you that I can feel those design concepts in action. I have the game just the way I like to play it and I still feel like i'm being rewarded with new challenges

Wow. Only 20 min of playing and I already can see how unique and fun this game is. Great crispy graphics, fun mechanics (being able to shoot while the ball is still moving is SO appreciated, keeps a fast pace) and the procedurally generated courses make repetition less apparent. I could image a fun multiplayer head to head mode where you’re trying to pocket all of your color balls, would be very similar to real-life bumper pool. Highly recommend, it’s so fun for the price.
