As I’m partially deaf this App has helped me enormously to be able to now watch TV shows and Movies regardless if they have captioning or not. Such a wonderful app for, not only, the deaf community but to those needing language translations either at home or when travelling overseas. So many wonderful applications.
I’ve paid for credits and then paid for the pro version, and it’s still not working, as it is unable to connect to server. I understand there may be some federal restrictions in Australia for us to access subtitles now, but how can you not notify us? I’m now several dollars out of pocket for an app that doesn’t work.
This is a wonderful app! I’m now able to share American movies with Mum (who’s Egyptian), that she couldn’t have watched before without the Arabic subtitles! I just position the iPad in front of the tv and it syncs perfectly! Sunday nights are now our movie nights together! Thanks to the creators of this app.

OK, I just saw Wonder Woman (in Thai) at the cinema. Usually that would detract from my movie experience. However, after locating & downloading this handy App, while the trailers were showing. I was able to install and find the subtitles all in time to be ready to watch an amazing movie. It was my first time so I wasn't sure how it would work. I synched so the subs were slightly behind the Thai audio track. This worked really well as I tried to understand the Thai dialogue with my limited vocabulary, seconds later the English titles confirmed what was actually said. A most enjoyable first use of a great App which allowed me to enjoy a really good movie with 100% comfort and ease. I placed my phone behind the seat in front so it was not difficult to view both the movie and the subtitles. I would thoroughly recommend this App. I am guessing that when the free 3 credits expire that I will need to pay some money to refill. I won't mind doing this. Good luck with the App - great idea an innovative use of technology.
This is such a clever app. It works well in noisy cinemas.
Downloaded this app, there's a huge database of captioning for movies and TV shows. The captions were in perfect sync with the audio. It liberated me from having to only go to the movies when CC are available (and the cinema provided caption machine is always broken 50% of the time) Now I can go whenever I like without having to worry about not hearing the movie!

Perfect.. Helps me not to be too disappointed with movies with no captions.
What a fantastic concept, makes watching in other country's so easy - no more hotel flicks in subs for me!!
