Subway Time NYC

98% of the time this app is spot on, I find it’s often more accurate than google maps. Highly recommend this over any other NYC MTA app.

Accurate and very easy to use!

This app is dead simple, and as a result it is fluid and fairly intuitive. It’s just the information you need, with some nice features like adding favorites and instant access to the MTA subway map. The killer feature is the widgets!! For the longest time I’ve been wanting an app that can display train times on my Home Screen, and until today, there was an easy way to keep your favorite stations pinned for easy access. Now there’s a new widget that shows upcoming trains and it is everything I’ve wanted, so thank you!!

Great way to check arrival times and other trains at a particular station that I can transfer to if necessary!

This app is brilliant for us New Yorkers who rely on the subway for work (and everything else). It allows you to see all of the updated arrival times live for your main subway stations and how much time you have to get ready and leave the apartment to get there right on time. I have my daily commute planned to the tee because I time my transfers perfectly using this app. You can click on the train you're planning on getting onto, which shows all of its stops and what time it will hit each stop. Then look at the seconds stops arrivals and click on it to find one that arrives at the same time as your first train is. I don’t wait around for transfers anymore and it’s saved a lot of time! Plus the widget is fantastic bc you can click on your most used stations and be taken straight to their live times. Finally, I love how simple it is. Very straight forward information, exactly like the neon light boards on the subway platform that gives you updated live time estimates. I want to know exactly how long I have until the train is there and this app is 300% accurate down to the minute. I’ve watched the app as it hits from 1 minute to 0 minutes, and the train comes right into the station

I recently downloaded the app when I was chatting with another subway rider. I’m amazed as to how accurate it is. No more waiting and I can move around the timing it shows. It also indicates realtime delays and alerts. I highly recommend it!

Would be nice if on the app, you listed crossover stations so if you miss your stop or you went the wrong way you can see what stations had the cross over to go the other direction without having to repay

Clearer, faster and easier to use than the MTA app. I love it and recommend it to all of my NYC friends.

The layout is simple. It’s up to date. You have a few customization options. All in all, great easy subway time app while in a rush.
