It could use more challenge at the expert level.

Suddenly there is drumming etc noise that can’t be turned off. I deleted the app.

Absolutely love playing this game and have for years. Never have updated, just continue with the original version. I’m not competitive so I do not try to do anything but enjoy playing… and teaching our grandchildren making memories of time together… This review is probably two years old and I am saying the very same thing, and still enjoy doing this each time I come to this app! I never tire of playing this game, especially this iPad app! 2023, March

I don’t know if it’s ad music or game music that plays but it’s incredibly annoying. I have all sounds off and the drums and whatnot breaking in is terribly annoying. I play while listening to audiobooks or podcasts and this ruins it for me. Ive been using this app for years without issue so hopefully they will fix it soon. If not, I will be getting another one of the many free sudoku apps out there.

Fun, challenging

Gameplay is good but marred by too many ads. If you play a lot it becomes irritating. The ads and their frequency have gotten worse.

Update: 😡😡😡 Deleting app. I will find a less visually appealing version that has expert level that doesn’t require ending game with guessing. I have left every game that ended up with pairings that used no strategy. After 5 years. Enough! Typically the Expert level has no real strategic solution. Get to the end of the game and it’s just guesswork requiring the user to try one of the numbers. I’ve been playing this for years, but am growing increasingly frustrated with puzzles that cannot be legitimately, strategically solved. I stick with this version because it is most eye-appealing and user-friendly. FIX THE EXPERT LEVEL! Sudoko forum: “It’s not Sudoku if you can’t strategically solve.”
