Sudoku Master Edition: Puzzles

Fantastic app, very smooth and ergonomic interface. I enjoy the QoL features and the higher difficulty levels, they hit the sweet spot for me and I've used the app for years. I'm confused about the events feature though - so far I've only seen one event, when the feature was added. It was just 50 (IIRC) games on the lowest difficulty. Would love for more events to run, perhaps automatically, and for there to be more of a sense of progression so it's not just a chore to complete

Just when my thumb muscle memory had got used to the pencil being at the top, the developers have given users the choice and offered the classic layout. Wonderful! Best sudoku game there is. I’ve taken done my poor review.

I enjoy playing it but you have to do operations in certain order and that has changed in the new format.

I used to love this app. I played it a lot and did not mind the adverts at the end of each puzzle or the small unitrusive ads at the bottom of the game. Now however they are incredibly distracting and spoil the game. Looking else where for a pencil based sudoku app sadly. Make remove ads 99p and I’ll keep it

Overall gameplay is good and it does exactly what you’d expect, however recent updates have added more clutter and confusion to what should be a simple game. The interface has never been great, but it’s getting steadily worse and the new addition of themes (which are a complete gimmick) don’t have an option to match iOS dark mode. Disappointing to see a good app going downhill.

Best sudoku app I’ve seen.

Terrible advertising vehicle that runs an ad after every single game. Most irritating of all a large percentage of ads blast out music or a VO that you cannot mute without shutting down the volume on your mobile/cell. Yuck!

This is a well-presented, Solid SudokuApp. I’m a fan of the different levels of difficulty, which I dip in and out of. The only problem I have with it relates to the scoring: it seems like it rewards time of completion too highly. Like, if you just power through and make a few mistakes, you’ll get more points than a slightly slower perfect run. I feel you should get more for a quick perfect run than a lightening fast run with mistakes. That’s it. And the problem goes away if you ignore high scores altogether! So I’m a happy camper overall. I recommend this game to anyone interested. The easy mode can get you into the game and the expert mode is great for a challenge.

Intuitive and comfortable interface. Difficulty grades are consistent and the upper levels (expert and master) are very challenging. Too addictive!

You can write in guesses and notes with pencil and they are converted to type. Lots of level options with very simple and supported starter puzzles
