Many adults eat much more sugar than necessary, so reducing added sugar intake is a healthful idea for most people. Some people may wish to take it a step further and cut sugar out of their diet entirely.
Mounting evidence continues to show a number of positive health outcomes from cutting back on added sugars, including a reduction in the risk for obesity, type 2 diabetes, coronary heart disease, metabolic syndrome, and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease

Sugar Addiction Recovery Reviews

Some errors

Azio2047 on

Spain

I have the free trial and I can’t read any article from the “Learn” option, also I can’t record any simptons The app is useful and really needed but not all the functionalities are available

Doesn’t accurately report progress

ACX461 on

United States

I find this app not motivational at all because even when I enter “no” for “Did you manage to stay sugar-free today?” It counts that day as a sugar-free day and congratulates me for a long run streak that I don’t have. The quotes and suggestions are nice, but not as helpful as accurate run streak information would be for me. I tried to cancel on the last day of the trial period and was still charged.

Bugs affecting main feature - can’t add foods

cs1400 on

United States

Whenever I tap on the “search” bar to add a food, it takes me back to the main screen. If I try to add a food manually and put my cursor on “food name” or anywhere else in the create food screen, it also bugs out and takes me back to the Home Screen. So a major feature of your app is failing… might wanna fix that.

Inaccurate

wildsummer on

United States

When you select that you didn’t have a sugar free day, it will still count it in your sugar free streak. Doesn’t make sense. Great concept though.

I really wanted to like this app

mjayyyyyyyyyyy on

United States

I downloaded the app because I thought it would help me track my sugar intake. Unfortunately I canceled my free trial the same day I signed up. There's too many glitches in the app that make it hard to use. I can't even log in the food I eat. Whenever I try to do anything on the app it takes me back to the home screen. Very disappointed, if it worked out for me I would have paid for the yearly subscription as I am very desperare to control my sugar. Oh well!

App won’t work

brooke3636 on

United States

I was really excited to use this app, however, it won’t let me log my food-so what’s the point?!

It’s just ok

aquatrue on

United States

I am not able to record a day in which I failed to saty “sugar free”… so it feels disingenuous. Maybe I am supposed to feel good that I am at least on the journey. I like the encouragement/reminder to stay hydrated

Couldn’t get past the request for premium

Italian learner 78 on

United States

I downloaded the app and if asked if I wanted premium and it wouldn’t let me decline. So I couldn’t even use the app. Total fail.

Like it but odd scaling on iPhone 14

RAWRAWRAWRAWRWR on

United States

I’m enjoying it so far but it would be great if it were designed with a more comfortable margin! The app goes all the way to the edge of the screen and into the Dynamic Island. It makes things really hard to reach! It would also be cool if the tabs reset their positions to the top after swiping between the different tabs. The app is just really large and not scaled well, but I like it so far. I just wish it was more comfortably designed!

Great concept but poor execution

Jimmerflab on

United States

I wanted to love the app but couldn’t handle the glitches and missing features - no ability to see your profile and modify your goals, data entered didn’t save or looked modified… major bummer
