SugarSweet

Published by: Cinq-Mars Media

Description

SugarSweet is a free app I initially made for myself as a tool to help with my ulcerative colitis. Having been diagnosed two years ago, I found sugar alcohols and some artificial sweeteners significantly exacerbated my symptoms, and upon research, discovered this is true of crohn's disease and various other conditions as well.
After using it myself, I wanted to share SugarSweet with others who might benefit from knowing exactly what's in their pantry or at the grocery store. The app has a database of various sugar alcohols and sweeteners and searches ingredient lists for matches. Simply scan the barcode of a product, and the app lists any sugar alcohols or artificial sweeteners, along with links to learn more.
SugarSweet is free and open source!
