This is one of those apps that you won’t use often, but when you need it, it’s perfect. Figure out when the sun will hit windows in a house or apartment you’re thinking of getting, find the perfect beach cabana on vacation, plan out golden hour photos. Amazing.
Awesome app for beach day
I burn easily so I use it to best position the half tent and I am good for the day. We also use it as a learning too. Thank you for making this useful app.
Best free sun tracker
By far the most information you can get without a purchase or subscription. This is excellent! Much more likely to get the paid version
Excellente application de suivi du soleil et de la lune
Cette application est excellente pour qui veut suivre l’évolution du soleil et de la lune au fils des jours, recevoir des notifications du lever, du coucher du soleil et bien d’autres événements! Je vous la recommande fortement!
This application is excellent for those who want to follow the evolution of the sun and moon over the days, receive notifications of sunrise, sunset and many other events! I highly recommend it!
Incorrect
The ar in this app is all over the place. Completely changes it’s mind about where the sun will rise. Checked at night had one position- Then changed its mind several times the morning of trying to capture a sunrise. Definitely unreliable and not an option if you want to accurately estimate the suns position.
Really useful
I use it so much more than I thought I would, mostly for figuring out where to place plants and shades , allows me to plan my plant layout out months in advance ( in case I’ll need to build a new shelf etc)
Great app, but could be better
The app itself is amazing, I use it as a tool for some architectural university projects. The 3D imagery is amazing and the slider is very helpful. The fact that you can use it to study a site at any time of the year is also amazing.
It could be better if you could lock a location and the sun circle was a little more versatile (visually) to hide or show more of the imagery if needed or vice versa.
But overall I’ve had very good results with it and will continue to use it.
Looking forward to any future updates you may bring.
Unstable
AR is buggy, tried with my iPad pro, and IPhone SE 2020 and couldn’t get the AR to function.
Wonderful!
I love this app! So useful for figuring out houseplant lighting, garden planning, planning outdoor activities, photography, etc.
