Sunwing

Do not get anything wrong first time through - in my case it did. It did not let me change the carry-on option (originally checked it and they wanted a fee so decided against it and the app couldn’t adjust .. then said go to airport to check). Pay bananas, get monkeys!

Wanting to avoid the chaos of the airport (Toronto Pearson) I asked my Sunwing advisor to book myself and my partner the VIP lounge. Arrived at the airport to find out that Sunwing is a satellite terminal and you have to take a shuttle (standing room only) with your carry on luggage in hand. Unpleasant ride to say the least. Given you are shuttled off to a satellite terminal you have no access to the VIP lounge and the advisor should have known this but took my money regardless. Trying to get my money back now but I don’t expect much considering how difficult the entire experience with Sunwing has been

If you make a mistake on your online check-in the application doesn't allow corrections and you can't complete the process 🤦🏻

Complain only online wheb you back, you can’t while you over there, they will tell you on the phone. Sunwing rep will not get into contact with you and when you finaly find them, they wont help you except telling you when your bus depart.

Our boarding passes will not download to the Apple wallet. Works for Google wallet. Navigation is not intuitive, bouncing between Safari and the app to complete operations. A bit strange when authentication happens, need to jump back into the app to continue my reservations even though it booted me into Safari.

App is horribly designed and I had to restart three times because I couldn’t edit and the app stopped working I also don’t know why I have to state so much useless information I don’t recommend fix this app please

Was a great trip. Lived up to expectations. No issues with boarding in either direction. No issues with baggage.
