Other reviews saying it doesn’t connect or has a bad lighting connector are wrong. Has the same connector as factory plugs. Which might be a problem with some phone cases. Worked fine the first time I plugged it in.

It does not work on any of my iOS devices regardless of what you do. Just another scam

When I bought this I had an iPhone 13 Pro and it worked pretty good. But since switching to iPhone 15 (and USB-C) it doesn’t matter which adapter I use, it doesn’t work. I even splurged and bought the Apple one, it connects and the lights turn on. But on the phone it says “Accessory Not Supported.” So I guess it’s just garbage now.

Many of the low star reviews seem to point toward an issue with the connection (or possibly the adapters) between the device and the lightning port. The pro max has a usb-c port and the device has a native USB-C connection. I’ve experienced no issues in that regard so far. In regards to the hardware from Amazon, Image quality is not great, light could be brighter, but for $25 USD I’m happy, and this does the job. A proper, industrial bore scope can easily run 10x what I paid, and this fits the bill for a DIY duffer like me who is just looking to get a closer look at something where a flashlight just isn’t enough.

I don’t know about these other reviewers with the low ratings, but this works well for me! They say the App was updated 2 months ago - it’s 4/13/24 - maybe that makes the difference, idk, but I’m happy with the scope’s performance! I tested it on a paper clip….grief, I saw the imperfections and striations it exhibited! It would be great for coins! A numismatist’s delight! Of course, at that magnification, it’s very sensitive. The light, the zoom, the focus — it all seems to work well for me! BTW, I have iOS.

I can’t tell you enough how bad the app & camera is! Absolutely no camera audio or camera quality calibration! NO AUDIO!!! What’s the point??? Video of a baby with NO AUDIO!!! Are you actually serious! Returned & refunded!!! The app alone is enough not to want to camera! 2005 is calling & wants to camera quality back! Can not use Apple car play while plugged in. 🚩

After my first brief trial I experienced no connection issues. Focus is properly displayed and lighting good. Appreciate the 3 accessories: 90 degree angle, magnet, and hook. Instructions could have been expanded for this 80 year old guy; totally don’t understand how to get a pdf made—very unclear to me. At John’s

Worked great the first day. After that it would not connect to the camera. I cleaned the plug ins, jiggled it, did everything and it would display the picture for a second and then show that it wasn’t connected. This happened a few times and now it won’t even connect for a second. I think this may be a scam to let China gain access to our stuff. I’m sending it back!

When I got this in the mail today I went to look up the app and while it was downloading I looked at the reviews and got worried that I had gotten something that was trash, but no! This thing works perfectly and does everything it says it does! So happy I found this little tool!

Does t work, leds light up but camera doesn’t connect. There is no customer support to diagnose anything so I have to conclude its defective. What a disgusting waste of time ! Now I have to go into town to return it.
