I booked my Tokyo stay with Super but the hotel never received any booking. After investigating, Super acknowledged their partner agent booked it wrongly to another hotel…I had no way but to pay for my stay directly to the hotel I booked. However, Super denied to reimburse me for the double charge and the additional charges incurred. Email also no reply…terrible experience! Apple should delist this scam app!!!
I booked through SuperTravel. When I checked in at the hotel, there is no reservation under my name at all. The hotel also could not contact SuperTravel for verification. When I reach out to the customer service team, they asked me to upload the invoice from hotel and fill up the refund form. Here is the most ridiculous part: you have to select a reason for refund from a drop-down menu. All the reasons stated are not SuperTravel’s fault, which means whichever reason you select will not get you a refund, because it is not SuperTravel’s responsibility. Once refund team rejects your refund, they will ask you to contact customer service. Then the customer service chatbot will repeat the same message over and over again. In short, once you pay, it is almost impossible to get it back.
I tried other site for booking on same date and room/bed type. Super gives the cheapest rate.
Please think twice when you use snaptravel platform to book your hotel. I booked my hotel stay in April back in Feb, and my booking allow full refund if cancellation within stipulated date. However, eventhough I canceled my booking within the stipulated date, snaptravel didn’t refund back to my credit card, instead refund me in snaptravel credit. I need to use few days to get to their “non-robot” customer service to get back my refund. Eventhough they refunded me, but it is not the exact amount I paid, which is 3% lesser than what I paid. So think twice when you use this platform for any of your booking.
It is definitely a scam everyone is telling the truth and I see the company responses are just as fake it's always the customers or the other company's fault they don't take accountability for anything and good apps promote this junk
