Superlist Reviews

This is my “Go To” task app!

Barb2Heal on

I love how I can modify my categories (and highlight these with my own photos). It’s a simple, standalone application that helps me organize steps for repeatable tasks on my iPhone or iPad - and is just fun to use. I’m interested in offering a community education class to folks so others can become more productive with Superlist - and feel a sense of real accomplishment. Many of us can’t move forward until we clear big projects (physical or mental) first. Superlist entries help me do just that. And the tool can lead to other broader discussions about purpose, use of time, brainstorming, capturing creative thoughts and ideas on-the-go, breaking down processes to become more efficient and much more. I’m a bit inspired, to be honest as I write this. Does a person stop using Superlist once all the big projects are done? How can it integrate with other software? How can one capture ideas with the microphone? What are the many uses of this simple but powerful app?

Good start, messy

I really like a lot of this app, but the design forces me to use new gestures that are bizarre and mess with my natural flow. Like swiping horizontally on a paragraph scrolls up and down (not options), but on a list it opens a new window with subtasks. Subtaks can’t be displayed in the note. What? Why? A good start but needs work!

Context menu disabled in notes

Some odd choices when typing in the notes field of a task. Try highlighting text to be copied and you won’t see anything appear with a right click. And formatting text in lists is erratic. We also had data loss so we stopped using for our team.

Great; could be amazing!

This has quickly become my favorite productivity app, taking the place of apps like Things and Todoist. I’m also glad to finally have a place for all of my notes as well! I’m so glad the old Wunderlist team is back at it again. I’d love some easier task manipulation controls, widgets, and siri/shortcut integration.

Simple & A Joy to Use!

Todo lists have always been the best way for me to be productive. Superlists takes this few and makes it so easy to customize and make sub lists. Thank you!

Buggy

The task notification doesn’t work and keeps saying “offline” and won’t let me switch back. Trying this out to see if it will replace Things 3. Not looking good.

The wunderlist i’ve been waiting for!

Very beautiful app to work with. I used to have to use two apps, one for notes and one for tasks and I would get confused where I listed it and have to search. This solves that problem. I can have notes and tasks all in one app.

Great potential. Tons of sync issues.

I can’t wait for this to be my main app. Right now, the syncing issues between devices (and the fact that the list view is sometimes completely empty), and slow loading overall, makes this not usable for me. Hoping they’ll fix it though at which point I’ll update my rating.

Very Reliable

Honestly a lot better than the Notes app that already came on my phone this app has helped me plan out my day a lot better than I thought.🙌🙌

Potential, but still lots of gaps

Concept32 on

United States

Very nice app, but had a good number of gaps including the fact they advertise paid plans, but it’s not possible to sign up for any through the app or their website. Until they add parity to apps like Microsoft To Do, it is hard to justify using this app. Additionally, the free plan only allows 5 shared lists. If you’re using this with family, this is a deal breaker to use this app when there are other options out there. On a positive note, the app is easy to use and looks nice.
