A great app to find hospo work and earn some extra cash. It would be amazing if there was a option for us to enter the hours worked after the shift on the app where it get tallied by the workers and the venues on the app rather having to text the managers. I’ve had instances where venues under processed my work hours and it has been such a pain to follow up on remaining payments.
Crashes regularly, especially when trying to hide the last item in a list. Hidden items also randomly reset and you have to re do them all over again. Good support though.
So far it works great I’ve started to find my first few shifts. Some things could definitely be improved. Searching for temporary shifts there needs to be some search parameters available. Ie select only barista shifts within 20km distance on these specific dates. At this stage it’s time consuming scrolling through endless shifts. If you view any of them and go back to the list you start from the top again, not great UX. You should be able to save those searches and set up alerts for new ones that fit within those parameters.
As previously stated, you get notifications for jobs hundreds of k’s away at times. Was told that a feature would be available where you could search by location. I’m still yet to see it. So I’d love the option to mute or hide businesses. Especially the ones that name the person they want at the top of the job description. Living in a smaller area away from the major city, 99 percent of the jobs are irrelevant and I’d like to not have to scroll thru all the notifications to see if any are from close by. I delete the post once I see it’s not for me but it’s a waste of time constantly doing all this.
Every shift I post, the applicants are almost all fake profiles or bots, and even when you secure and lock in a applicant for a shift, and confirm with them via call/text, they don’t show up for shifts. If I could give zero starts I would. Avoid the app to save yourself disappointment
Great app! Gots some work out of it. Needs to have a messaging feature of some sort. Sometimes there are jobs posted for 3 or 4 days, and I would like a way to be able to apply for maybe 2 or 3 days of these if I cannot do all. Also, sometimes shifts don’t show in date order which can be annoying. A calendar would be good.
I used this app over a year ago in Melbourne. The process for setting up my account so that it could be visible was slow because I didn’t receive clear instructions from the beginning on what my account needed to be visible or active. After that, I was able to apply for jobs, but I never went to any shifts because I found a full-time job elsewhere, so I stopped using the app. I had the app for several months and received many offers to apply for, but since I had my job, I eventually decided to cancel my account and deleted the app. Almost a year after that, I decided to use the app again and wanted to register, but I wasn’t receiving any confirmation emails. I thought maybe I hadn’t canceled the account, so I tried sending myself an email to reset the password, but that email never arrived, which I found very strange. For some unknown reason, they blocked my email. Then I tried with another email, and to my surprise, I did receive an email there, I was able to create the account, and I had access to the job listings. But after a few hours, they blocked all my access to the visibility of the jobs. I didn’t receive any email explaining why they were blocking the app’s content, at least to provide a reason. I can’t find any other reason except that I deleted my previous account, as I didn’t have any problems before doing that. I find the “karma points” system they have a bit absurd, but well, that’s part of their business idea. Still, customer service was terrible, and I wouldn’t recommend this app.
The payment used to be faster last year but now it’s getting longer. It’s almost 3 days already I still waiting for the payment 🥲
Saves me when I need some extra hours and also good way to find new opportunities
