Short list

Oryanphox on

I got this app to see what supplements do for you. Out of the four I had questions or was curious about that one was in their list.they have been extremely short list of different herbs I would not waste your time to even download this if it was free.

Doesn't reference known accurate source data

R.J. F on

United States

This app looks good and the organization isn't bad. The problem is that it provides little info and all the more info links are to Wikipedia. It's likely that's where most of its limited data comes from. This is a bit disturbing as Wikipedia should never be treated as a scholarly source, particularly for health information, as many entries include bias (and sometimes downright inaccurate information).

Adequate Informatin

InkyMyCat on

United States

As another user mention this app doesn't go into pages and pages of information which is good for me. For a free app its pretty nice. This is a web based app and will require the internet. I hope in future update they will offer more herbs and supplements. I like that the app makes suggestions on different aliments. I look forward to future updates.

Poor Descriptions

jhw56 on

United States

You get more descriptions about what a supplement does by tapping the "Buy" and going to the supplier site and reading their description. This App is lame and needs a lot of work to be useful. Many supplements are missing. Not worth the trouble of downloading.

Very good

Miathechunk on

Easy to use, good amount of supplements (don't know why people said there was less than 30?) I like the store locator feature I travel a lot so that makes it easy. Highly recommended though!

Don't buy

This App is worthless... It's obvious someone is just trying to make a quick buck! This app only has about 30-40 different supplements and only 1 sentence descriptions about it. Please save your money. I hope the maker of this app sees this and enjoys his last 99 cents he got from me. DO NOT BUY! There is a reason it only shows 1 picture of it to look at.

better than the rest

donnyduke28 on

I've been looking for an app like this for awhile. Something that I could use on both my iPad and iPhone. There are other apps but they often include *too much* info. I only want the quick overview, not 10 pages of scientific jargon. This app is perfect for that. Also, I don't know why people are comparing this app to Wikipedia. Of course Wikipedia is going to contain the same information -- it's an encyclopedia! It has everything! That said, the last time I checked, I didn't see a supplement store locator feature on Wikipedia or links to buy the supplement, ect.

ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY!!!

GWHypes on

United States

It has NOTHING you couldn't find in 30 seconds on Wikipedia. I guarantee you that every positive rating was left by the publisher themselves. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Don't buy

D_MAG2010 on

United States

It just contains sources from wikipedia which is free to use. Don't waste your money on this app.

elementary
