The mini games just do not work. Bad info and lack of function.
Slow, difficult, dense, unexciting. Not a compelling storyline. I played this long ago and recently bought it for another device. Mistake. I guess humans tend to forget about pain, or at least boredom.
? 🐰 🐾 Definitely not an HOP. This episode belongs in the murky depths, along with bottom feeders....and, no, not the ones featured on LOGO...lol...#LOVEmyRuPAUL The constant back+forth hoop-jumping search (and I mean, CONSTANT) either for items that unlock (doors, compartments, drawers, etc) or fix, or complete objects, becomes so tedious and mind numbing ... definitely doesnt qualify as an HOP Game. I agree with Cache, I mainly play for the Puzzles and Mini-Games, the more complex, challenging and different the better. The Developer needs to focus on making the three main ingredients shine, keep spicing them up, using different and unique varieties, keep them coming back for more. Over time all the “NameSake” Searches became so ridiculously obvious, that it was pointless and BORING.... Try actually HIDING objects, and trying new formats and ways of playing.
It’s too expensive
This game is a bit different from the other "Surface" games. Its puzzles are different, and have poor instructions. You have a map with teleportation. The help screen is good. Trying to find the "objects"is strange. Some are very easy to find, others, I still didn't locate. I only played the trial version and I'm not sure that I like it. I skipped at least one puzzle, the register, because I didn't understand the instructions. Is it worth buying? Not sure. Update: It's a year later, and I tried it again. I skipped a couple of games because the pieces wouldn’t move. The register wouldn’t allow me to make connections, the houses wouldn’t let me move the windows, etc. I got very tired of the ack ad forth, too, even with the teleport, it was simply distracting s d added time to the game. Otherwise, it was boring. This game isn’t for me.
Too short, too easy, boring in general. I miss the old surface games.
Do not buy this game! Once you make the purchase, the game will not open! And when you reinstall it, it says that no purchase was found...have tried to contact customer service three times to get help or a refund, without any response. Maybe the next step is to call the B.B.B.
Great game. You have the ability to customize your player mode which includes the ability to shorten your skip times for puzzles. The map teleportation makes it so much easier (and less monotonous) to play. Four instead of five stars because the directions for most puzzles were difficult to understand. Definitely worth the purchase. I enjoy playing it over and over with varying difficulties.
Luckily I only paid 4.99 because both the main game and the bonus game were too short.
