Glad I didn’t wait around for my account to be setup. I asked for statue of account setup, no response. I asked for the account to be closed, that never allowed me to put money into, they responded within 5 mins and closed the account. Get real. Seems I dodged all of the negative reviews.
Love swan
Buying Bitcoin is easy. Transfers to your wallet are free. Spread is lower than Conbase. What’s not to like? Oh and great support.
Trustworthy company
I’m a beginner but confident with Swan.
Disliked
Disliked they were lazy.
As an understatement.
Dead simple, straightforward
Does one thing and does it well. Five stars
App not opening
This app does not work well! It only opens 30% of the time. Will take my money out once it opens and I’m able to use it
Never available to trade, limited app
With all the hype I thought this would be great but the ira option doesn’t allow you to trade your BTC at all within it. It’s also not the same bitgo level cold storage as their exchange, didn’t get any contact for adding a beneficiary or any contact whatsoever after setting up. You have to withdraw to your bank account if you want to move to cash and take the tax hit for that. All you can do is trust they have your BTC when it’s time to retire. It also has loading errors every time I try to buy or sell for the last few days…
No transaction fees!
No fees for your first $10,000 in purchases. That is amazing. This is where I send anyone who wants to get into bitcoin.
$ Transfer
Really easy app to get started with. No downside as I just started using app.
Be Warned
Actually, glad it took them so long to set up my account and that I never actually utilized them after reviewing all the one stars and comments talking about their accounts being locked and how difficult it is to get the bitcoin that they purchased plus the spread they had is more than average, which makes up for the fact they have no fees.
