Sweat & Tonic Reviews

Link to outlook calendars

cass-sherlock on

I love how easy the app is to use but instead of receiving emails for every class I sign up for I’d much rather it automatically be added as an event in my outlook calendar allowing me to seamlessly plan out my day around the classes I’ve booked.

The app sucks, glitches all the time, freezes when trying to book on Saturday

gutfyfcvuuhn on

Canada

The app is terrible, booking classes on Saturday it glitches or freezes constantly. When you are trying to cancel a class it will glitch and cancel a totally separate one from the one you are trying to. They need to invest more money in the app and less profit taking. The gym has been on the decline for months now they are expanding too fast and it is affecting the quality of the user experience. You pay $300 a month to be sitting on waitlists most days! Prices have seen a sharp increase at the tonic and sweat cafe and bar. Went from $4 gin and tonics to $10 gin and tonics all in 6 months. The quality of the food has gone down hill as well. Doesn’t taste as good as it used to and they removed some of the best items. Plus increased the price $2 on every baked good product. Not even worth it to buy anymore. The one good thing about this place are the instructors they are 10/10 top notch and the only reason to come here. Everyone one of them is dedicated and offer fun and enjoyable classes. That is the only thing they have going for them at this gym and they don’t even pay them that good yet they are the ones that keep this place top notch. Management needs to do better!

Add to calendar feature

Smattiepatties on

Canada

Since I started going to S&T last year, this app has always been super user-friendly and reliable to book/cancel/reschedule classes, look up class info, track my progress, and purchases passes. However, there must have been a new update recently because now the “add to calendar” feature stopped working and I didnt realize how amazing that feature was until it went away. Please fix this :(

Decent app but glitchy and slow

Littlerhinotron on

Canada

The app can be very slow when navigating through pages and days. One of the most frustrating things is sometimes the UI is glitchy. For example, when cancelling a class and returning to the class screen, you press another class and the selected class doesn’t match what you pressed visually (ie the UI didn’t update to match where you tap).

App has performance issues and UX jank

Bexkillus on

Canada

1. When reservations open at 5PM, the app is almost unusable. Loads incredibly slowly and makes it impossible to get into the popular classes, especially during the S&T X Caudalie events in January. 2. You can only see how long the waitlist is by clicking into the “waitlist” button from the calendar view. However, after exiting out, the entire page is frozen. The only workaround is clicking on one of the other menu buttons at the bottom. Feature request: please make it easier to see how long the waitlist is from the main calendar view without clicking into the class. S&T has long waitlist and I find myself clicking through this workflow hundreds of times a month.

Need to fix state management issues

Hijgesscgukbgrdvjo on

The app is mostly great. However there are a lot of issues with the app not refreshing/updating in real time. E.g. If I’m looking at all my upcoming reservations, and cancel one of them, the displayed list of classes updates (but not as expected). If I click on one of the classes in the list, the data displayed is for a different class (next one in the list). This is really frustrating as it makes it difficult to update class reservations sequentially because the data is not in sync. Only when I exit and reopen the app is the data properly updated.
