Great MIDI & KAR Player

(Have updated rating to 5 stars as the developer have been most helpful and responsive to suggestions. Many suggestions have now been incorporated into app. Thankyou Rolf!) Caveat here: don't bother if you just want a free MIDI Player as full function can only be activated with the seemingly rather expensive in app purchase or you are not able to listen to the entire songs or save any edit. However as I need a good MIDI and KAR player/editor on the iPhone, I did make the purchase and I think it is absolutely worth it. The sound font is pretty ok for an iPhone app. I use it for my music playing backing and karaoke situation. Import some good MIDI or KAR files, plug your iPhone into a PA system and you are good to go. You can also upload your own DLS soundfonts if so inclined to tinker with the desired sound to tour heart's desire(size limited to iOS ram) Individual tracks can be modified and saved. Playlist is very handy as I have thousands of files. Nothing beats KAR files as Karaoke for their extremely small size and you can store literally thousands of songs on your iPhone and hardly use up any memory at all. Audio quality is different from a live recorded mp3+g but it's hundreds of time smaller and a well arranged file sounds very good too. What gives KAR and MIDI songs a bad name are the poorly arranged songs done by poorly skilled amateurs. Many good files can be found online for free as well as professionally created ones. So if you need a good KAR and MIDI Player and editor, Sweet MIDI Player is great. The price may seem pretty steep for an iOs app but it is totally worth it for MIDI enthusiasts and professional musicians. You know who you are. Wish List: -search function that allow you to search for any strings with the file names or embedded info.(fIle name search now done!) -folder structure that allow you to import songs directly into a particular folder or playlist.(not possible due to iOS) -allow songs to be added to playlist from the song list or now playing window rather than having to look for the songs from the playlist itself.(done!) (all the above are due to the fact that with thousands of MIDI files it can be extremely difficult to find a particular song and keep things organized)

I don't know why it will cut down the length of my own midi file and also changed the tempo by itself. @_@
