Terrible
This is actually the worst app I have used. The location-based data is all wrong and the layout is completely dysfunctional. I want my $2.99 back.

Swell Info has full seven day detailed surf forecasts, current weather, tides, and buoy data all in a sleek, super easy to use interface. This is an app you will use for today's surf session, and planning your surfing week.

All locations available on the app are available free on the Swellinfo.com web site. Please check the web site to see a lit of all our forecast locations.
Launching Swell Info brings you to the main forecast screen providing a summary forecast for the morning and afternoon for each of the 7 days, conveniently color coded using green (clean), blue (fair), and red (choppy). You can swipe back and forth between your 5 favorite locations, and when you want the details, you can click on each day to get the detailed text surf forecast, tides, and hourly wind and swell data. The Swell Info app, also includes current wind, weather, tides, and buoy data, updated hourly at the top of each main forecast screen. This is the crucial information that notifies you on what the surfing conditions are right now - what the tide is doing, whether the sea breeze has kicked in, or if the new swell has started to show on the nearest buoy station.

Used to work
This used to be a nice Tim to use for forecasting site diving conditions. Note never the web version or the paid app version works. It been brides for months now and wish they would fix it.
No updates, old data
This app no longer seems to update. It used to show today as the top data and the following 5-7 days underneath. It now shows Thursday at the top no matter what day you check it and the data for the days displayed is inaccurate.
Bogus!!
It’s saying 3-4ft+ for my location and it’s literally flat. 5-7ft tomorrow and it’s FLAT
App hasn’t updated for a month.
Moving on. The tides are still automatically updating but no forecasts. Sorry folks. Was a good app and I always recommended it. No more.

Don’t waste your money , app no longer updates.
It is back
Just to update from all of the negative reviews. It seems they’ve fixed their issues with the data and the app gives accurate forecasts again. Glad to see since Corporate greed has ruined Surfline, and that same corporate greed has driven Surfline to buy out and kill off magic seaweed. SwellInfo always have more accurate forecasts to my local spot than either of the than Surfline and MSW, so glad to have this option back in action. (It’s been fixed for a year or so.)
Not working
It shows swells coming, but always flat today every where, app is useless now
Not worth it anymore
Used to be my go to but now they don’t really keep up with it. 👎🏾
It’s back!?
I just checked the app on a whim. Appears to be updating again. I’m in Hawaii. Don’t know about other locations. I’m glad to see it come back to life.
