Cancelled holiday
I booked sea point in anglsea over a year ago and was looking forwards to it, as was my family. Then on Sunday i was looked at my App. Cancelled ! Monday came around, nothing. My wife tried phoning, the waiting time goes from 10 mins to 13 mins to 15 mins. So I tried Tuesday/Wednesday with the same frustrating out come. When you message them it gives you three opinion Including Changing the number of pets you want to take ?? This was the one I used to let them know how I felt, only to realise it was a robot. So I sent a email, I got a email back saying “this email address is non responsive” ?? What’s the point ? Then a human finally got in touch by message on Wednesday and ask me when to contact me, I gave her two times I’d be available to speak, 1-130 and 3-6 no phone call. I always book well in advance to get a good property for my budget. I had a detached house, two en suites, two balconies. All very nice. Now, I’d be lucky to get a terrace house ! To cut a long story short, once you’ve paid no one cares. If you phone new booking straight through like a flash ! Got a problem they ain’t interested. I asked to be compensated by maybe sorting out a property that was more expensive but they said the owners wouldn’t agree ! What’s it got to do with them ?? Surly it’s up to Sykes to resolve it not some random property owner !! Absolutely terrible service, now ive got to wait 3-5 working days for my money back, imagine saying that to them why you owe them money. Very poor will no recommend
