Sykes: Book Holidays You Love

We have been booking with Sykes for several years now and have never had any problems. Any properties we’ve stayed at have always been accurately described and the prices have always been reasonable and fair for the properties we’ve rented. We’ve never had any problems with the bookings and any queries we’ve had have always been resolved straight away. I have no hesitation in recommending Sykes to book your next holiday. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. Trish.

After a very pleasant stay I was informed we would be charged £182 for damage to a small kitchen table we never even used. I disputed this but the charge remained on my account and Sykes made no effort to investigate my suggestion that it must have been like that already Very disappointed in the lack of response

Sight says it has logged me out even though I NEVER LOGGED IN and then asked me to review which is SO ANNOYING!!!!

Don’t bother making an account. I have had many problems over the years logging on and resetting password dosnt work. Just comes up with sorry something went wrong or something to that effect. Even when you manage to reset it and store the password when the site comes up it says sorry again. Nightmare.

Sykes Holidays is always my first choice when searching for a holiday property. Great choice UK wide and good pricing. I like the fact that I can always find affordable find short breaks for large groups.

Have used Sykes on 3 bookings now. All have been very satisfactory and a high quality of accommodations.

I have used Sykes a few times now. I find their properties really well described. I love searching for those out of the way hideaways. Just abou to head to borders of Scotland and then early next year to Anglesey. Never been disappointed using Sykes.

Had a great week in Creek Cottage, it was clean, comfortable and well equipped apart from I could not find any egg cups and a smaller pan would have been useful. Hopefully we will return again.

Rubbish company! Booking made - tick Payment taken - tick Confirmation in - tick Call by rep to say you can’t get in.. only a couple of hours before due to settle in. Already shopped for the weekend. Why. Good question! The cleaners had not prepped it?? I say that’s okay we can pop out during the weekend. And nope your not allowed in. If you enter then you are trespassing and we will call the police! No words on how angry I was. Okay send me the money back now. No takes 3-5 working days Over 2k for one week rental for what was arguably one of the worst bungalows in the road inside and out. (Only option in the area) Gross! Then ongoing emails to say - enjoy your stay - how was your stay etc. rubbish. Money back Monday so that was something. Clueless and will never use or recommend them again. You know when you think it’s a wind up and somebody with tv cameras will turn up… and say surprise lol it was that bad! But nope. Poor poor poor business on every level. My children converse better than the staff on the end of the line. Training required! Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
