Can’t live without this app with the wifi adaptor - however it doesn’t work well on my iPhone 12. The screen won’t stay on, the buttons don’t have text readable sometimes. It’s hard to navigate and looks very outdated - please update!

Pretty good app to have but there is no manual to be found. This is ok for most things just during a “Go to” there should be a feature to “lock on” to an object once you have centred it in the scope. There is a button which seems to promise to do that but it is greyed out and does nothing.

The App seems to completely disregard the need to prevent cable wrap on az-eq mounts and will happily rotate 180-360 degrees or more from its home position when slewing to new targets. The SynScan handsets don’t have this problem. If your ios handset goes into sleep mode or interrupted by another app (eg messaging), other devices such as SkySafari get disconnected and lose alignment. Developers should consider writing a background service that runs in background on ios, maintains connection and continues picking up auxillary encoders whilst in background.

Could be improved by adding the same functionality as the handset. Ie: same data bases available. Include SAO, HD, Tycho databases.

Wifi connection shows good in phone settings but app will not connect with no device found error. Network is selected for connection type in app. At this point absolutely useless.

I love the telescope only it just moves very slowly when you move it yourself, but it moves very fast when you want to find something. It has a low storage so you don’t have to worry about running out, and is just super amazing with this app. I hope it gets better reviews though

Sometimes it tracks, sometimes it doesn’t. Hard to tell why because it is hard to tell when it is tracking. Make the app pretty useless.

This app has worked wonderfully no delay zero issues I’m not sure why the other reviews all complain of crashing or it just not working they might have older phones or wrong iOS this is an iPhone 15 at IOS 17. Works like a charm

I’m trying to align my new AZ GTI mount with this app. It won’t register taps to confirm manual star alignment. Imagine my frustration that I buy a new $500 mount and the developers can’t even take the time to code the iPhone app properly to register taps on a button on the screen?!

This would be really great.. if it worked, but it will not align properly. I’ve tried every alignment option on the app, I’ve watched every YouTube video on it and read the very vague instructions that came with it. It will move and point the mount but it’s never on target, not even close. Like atleast 1 or 2 closed fists off target. This basically makes the mount useless and now I’m at a $400 loss. Idk what to do with it now.
